With its refined ambiance and vintage charm, Camel Coffee (Dosan, Seoul) has become a go-to destination for those seeking a premium coffee experience.

Located near Dosan Park, Camel Coffee No. 3 recently underwent renovations, making it even more inviting. Although it's a café, not a restaurant, the sheer number of visitors means you might have to wait. To avoid the crowds, I visited on a weekday morning right after opening.

The café’s modern coffee bar dominates the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Although the tables are small, they are perfectly designed for enjoying a relaxing coffee moment. Each table is marked with a numbered baseball, adding a unique, playful touch to the setting.

The baristas were incredibly kind and welcoming, complementing the café’s retro-inspired decor and lounge music.

 

Menu

Their signature drink, Camel Coffee, is an absolute must-try. It offers a deep coffee flavor, a smooth yet subtly sweet creaminess, and a clean finish. Even those who typically avoid sweet coffee will appreciate its well-balanced taste.

To pair with your coffee, pretzels, ang-butter, and other coffee-friendly baked goods are also popular choices.

The signature Camel Coffee was an absolute delight, bittersweet coffee with a light, creamy finish.

The Café Latte had a rich and deep flavor, making it a great choice for latte lovers.

To our surprise, the barista kindly offered us a complimentary cup of drip coffee. It was a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable.

Pairing the handmade chocolate with our coffee was a simple yet indulgent treat.

What impressed me even more was how the barista took the time to explain the coffee beans and their origins, enhancing our appreciation of the flavors.

Maybe it was the quieter morning hours, but the warmth and friendliness of the baristas truly stood out. From their words and gestures to their customer service, their hospitality was exceptional.

It’s no surprise that despite the long wait times, people keep coming back to Camel Coffee Dosan. With its wonderful coffee, inviting atmosphere, and thoughtful service, it’s a café that’s easy to fall in love with.
