HiKR Ground (K-pop, K-drama, K-culture)
If you're looking for a free and exciting attraction in Seoul, I’ve got the perfect recommendation for you! HiKR Ground, run by the Korea Tourism Organization, is a vibrant space where you can explore and experience various aspects of Korean culture—all without spending a dime.
Located in the Jongno district, HiKR Ground is super accessible. It’s just a three-minute walk from Jonggak Station, Exit 5, making it easy to visit. While parking is available, it does come with an additional charge.

Ever wondered what “HiKR Ground” stands for?
It comes from Hi from KoRea! with the four letters forming HiKR. This place was designed as a cultural playground where young people can immerse themselves in exciting, interactive experiences related to Korean pop culture, art, and tourism.
And the best part? All five floors are completely free to explore!
HiKR Wall (1F)
The ground floor welcomes visitors with a massive HiKR media wall, setting the tone for this futuristic and vibrant space.
K-pop Ground (2F)
If you’re a K-pop fan, the second floor is where you’ll want to spend the most time. The K-Pop Ground Zone is designed like a real music video set, featuring six themed spaces where you can step into the world of K-pop.
The first area replicates the setting of a subway station, making you feel as if you’ve stepped straight into a K-pop MV.
There’s also a 3D avatar experience, where international K-pop fans are digitally recreated.
Want to take center stage? The "My Stage" area lets anyone feel like a K-pop idol. With just a push of a button, you can instantly change the stage’s background and lighting to match your vibe. The interactive touchscreen controls allow for precise lighting adjustments, making it a super fun experience, even for kids!
Other exciting themed rooms include the “Color Room”, where you can play with different hues, and a stage featuring a spaceship backdrop, adding a futuristic twist to your K-pop fantasy.
HiKR Art Musium (3F)
Need a break from the high-energy K-pop experience? The third floor offers a more relaxed atmosphere.
An exhibition showcasing popular Korean shows and movies available on Netflix.
A VR experience zone, where you can get a taste of virtual reality entertainment
HiKR Cave (4F)
The fourth floor takes things to another level by letting visitors experience Korean tourist destinations through all five senses. Instead of just reading about places, you can interact with them in a more immersive way.
HiKR Lounge (5F)
Unlike the other floors, the fifth floor doesn’t have exhibitions, but it offers a comfortable lounge area, perfect for relaxing after all the excitement. Plus, you’ll find Knotted Donut, a popular dessert brand known for its soft and fluffy treats.
I highly recommend checking out HiKR Ground, especially if you’re visiting Jongno. It’s a fantastic free attraction packed with interactive experiences. Whether you’re a die-hard K-pop fan or just curious about Korean culture, HiKR Ground is a must-visit spot in Seoul.
