T1 Base Camp (pc room)

I was once really into TFT (Teamfight tactics) gaming and was watching a few videos on YouTube, and at some point, the algorithm kicked in and started recommending a lot of T1 (South Korean esports team) videos.

T1 players have recently won the LoL (League of Legends) World Championship. Afterward, the YouTube algorithm began recommending more of them, and ever since then, I've been completely fascinated by T1 players.

I play TFT on occasion, but I've never played LoL and have no idea what the rules are or how to play. Even though I'm not familiar with the rules, I still find myself watching T1 videos every day since the T1 members are super cheerful and the games are so thrilling.

I was just wandering around Hongdae the other day and came across this spot called T1 Base Camp.

I initially thought it was just a store for T1 stuff, but it ended up being a PC room (PC bang) in Hongdae run by the T1 team.

I’m not really into shopping, and I didn’t have time to chill and play games since I was meeting up with friends, but I was curious and decided to check it out anyway.

T1 legend crew at the entrance. Right next to it, there was a photo booth where you could snap some pics with T1 members. If you're really into T1, you're gonna love it.

Guess it's the weekend, so there are a lot of people around. With the LoL World Championship just ended, I feel like T1 is super popular at the moment. I spotted a GOAT Faker photo zone on the way in, so I snapped a pic.

PC Room (PC Bang)

Check out the PC room at T1 Base Camp where you can jump into some gaming fun. It was super comfy and clean, making it hard to believe it was in the basement.

Nowadays, many foreigners are T1 fans, so I thought it would be nice to stop by once when you visit the Hongdae area.

It is a super high-performance computer that's worth around 3.5 million Won (2,800 USD). At this point, you can't really blame the computer if you end up losing the game.

Since I'm already here, I thought I'd chill and play a game, but I've got another appointment, so I had to move on.

It seems like you can also grab some food. Next time, I think it’d be fun to grab some noodles and play games here.

I stopped by the shop near the entrance to see what they had.

There's a bunch of stuff, like T-shirts and character dolls of the members, plus a ton of other cool items. The dolls that showed off the members' characteristics were super cute.

The keyboards and headsets that the T1 crew uses. These headsets are super light. I gave typing on the keyboard a shot once, and it was actually pretty nice.

There's also a spot with Nintendo Switches for sale. There are tons of Nintendo products out there, like joystick covers, cases, and more. Also a bunch of game packs, so I spent some time checking them out.
