I recently visited 29cm Seongsu (Seongsu-dong, Seoul), a unique concept showroom newly opened by 29CM. Unlike traditional brand-specific pop-ups, 29CM Seongsu takes a more creative and thematic approach, curating brands, works, and performances around a seasonal theme. For this season, the slogan is “The First Autumn We Meet.”

29CM Seongsu isn’t your typical pop-up or retail store. Instead, it’s a concept-driven cultural space, where curators select a topic and bring together a variety of brands, products, and accessories that align with that theme.

At first glance, the curated items appear unrelated, but when viewed through the lens of 29CM’s vision, they come together in a way that feels cohesive and refreshing. It’s a bold and innovative concept that seems to pave the way for new cultural trends in retail.

Upon entering, you’re greeted by a brief history of 29CM Seongsu and an overview of the current theme, autumn.
