Amore Seongsu (Seongsu, Seoul) is Amore Pacific's innovative cosmetic cultural space.

Like many other spaces in the area, it occupies a transformed industrial building, exuding an edgy, modern charm. I'd often passed by it, curious about what lay inside, and finally decided to explore.

Upon arrival, visitors are greeted with practical amenities like lockers for bags and coats. The ring-shaped locker keys are a charming detail that sets the tone for a carefully curated experience.

After scanning a QR code, you're free to explore at your own pace, with staff readily available for assistance without being intrusive.

Cleansing Room

The experience begins with the cleansing room, designed with the ambiance of a high-end hotel. Here, you can test out various cleansing products at a dedicated washing area. It's the perfect opportunity to try products firsthand in a serene, spa-like setting, all free of charge.

 

Cosmetic Section

The main cosmetics section offers a wide variety of Amore Pacific’s beauty lines, including Hera, which I sought out as a devoted fan of Jennie.

The area is designed for self-service exploration, with comfortable seats to test products and plenty of mirrors. This thoughtful setup ensures a relaxed browsing experience, particularly appealing for introverts who prefer to shop without constant assistance.

The gift packages on display were beautifully designed, making them perfect for special occasions.

I also admired the Laneige packaging, which felt like a work of art, reflecting the care and creativity of the designers.

Additionally, the facility offers classes in its spacious and well-lit rooms, providing opportunities to learn more about beauty techniques and trends.

 

Base Picker

One of the standout experiences is the Base Picker, where you can mix and create your own makeup or lip color. This hands-on activity does take some time, so it's best to visit on a weekday if you're interested in trying it out.

 

 

Adding to the charm is an on-site flower shop, which makes it easy to pick up a thoughtful gift alongside your cosmetics.

 

Rooftop (3F)

The rooftop (3F) offers a peaceful retreat. Walking up the stairs feels reminiscent of ascending to a European cathedral or triumphal arch.

At the top, you’ll find an Osulloc Tea House, perfect for enjoying a calming drink. The rooftop itself has plenty of seating, making it an ideal spot to relax with tea on a warm day.

Amore Seongsu is more than just a place to shop, it's a gallery-like experience that combines beauty, relaxation, and creativity. The stylish facility, wide product selection, and thoughtful design make it a must-visit for anyone passionate about cosmetics and beauty culture.
