Today, I had the pleasure of visiting AndersonC (Seongsu, Seoul), a renowned vintage furniture store in Korea, located in the heart of Seongsu-dong. Every time I strolled past this intriguing building, I’d wonder what secrets lay inside. When I found out through social media that AndersonC had relocated here, I couldn’t resist stopping by.

The AndersonC showroom is free to explore if you purchase a drink from the café on the first floor. After grabbing a coffee, I received my admission ticket.

The exhibition starts in the room adjacent to the café, which is furnished predominantly with red chairs and tables. Despite being a simple setup, the carefully coordinated colors make it feel like a work of art.

The space is open for you to enjoy your drink and relax. Even on a weekend, it wasn’t overly crowded, which made it all the more enjoyable.

After finishing my coffee, I made my way to the furniture exhibit. Upon ascending from the café, I entered a space filled with an array of chairs. At this point, entry is restricted to ticket holders, so make sure to keep yours handy.

As a friendly reminder, touching or sitting on the furniture is not allowed to preserve the integrity of these rare and valuable pieces.

The showroom is a treasure trove of rare and unique vintage furniture. From chairs and desks to couches and even smaller decorative items, there’s something for everyone. Each floor showcases meticulously curated items, and the helpful staff are always available to answer any questions.

Every item felt like a piece of art, making the showroom feel more like a museum of vintage design than a traditional furniture store.

New Building

Once you’ve explored the old building, step outside and head to the new building next door. On the ground floor, you’ll find a restaurant, while the second floor continues the exhibition with even more stunning furniture.

Make sure to keep your ticket handy, as it will be checked again when entering the new building.

The spacious terrace with outdoor furniture added another layer to the experience, offering a perfect spot to enjoy the open air.

The old building’s square windows create a picture frame effect, especially with the chairs arranged inside. From a distance, it feels like you’re looking at a gallery of miniature artworks.

Restaurant (1F)

The restaurant on the first floor also features vintage furniture, tying the experience together with style and charm.
