During our weekend trip to Seongsu-dong, my girlfriend and I stopped by Apartmentfull Market (Seongsu, Seoul), a spot I had marked on our must-visit list. This unique market offers a curated selection of vintage furniture and lifestyle goods, making it a paradise for design enthusiasts and decor lovers alike.

The moment you step inside, it feels like you’ve been transported to a chic concept store in Germany. A staff member warmly greeted us at the entrance and gave a quick rundown of what we could expect on each floor, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our visit.

The first floor features an assortment of lifestyle items and vintage publications, neatly displayed for browsing.

In the basement, you’ll find a stunning collection of vintage chairs and sofas, most of which have been imported from Europe. The pieces were undeniably gorgeous, but their high price tags made them feel more like museum exhibits than potential purchases.

The second and third floors showcase a mix of products, including some privately owned items that are sold on consignment. If you fall in love with something from this personal collection, you can purchase it on the spot!

What stood out most was how meticulously everything was organized. Each item was labeled with its price, year of origin, and original imported price, making it feel like a museum experience where every piece has a story to tell.

I was particularly drawn to a set of cabinets displayed in the final section. Lately, I’ve been really into home decor, and these cabinets seemed like the perfect addition to my dream space. However, my girlfriend convinced me to hold off for now, but I’ll definitely be back for them if I ever own a home in Seoul!

Apartmentfull Market is just a short walk from Seongsu-dong’s main street, making it an ideal stop for a leisurely stroll. After exploring the market, treat yourself to a cozy café nearby to wrap up your day with joy.
