Whenever I'm in the Hannam-dong or Itaewon neighborhood, I always stop by the <mmmg> near Hangangjin Station, and I did so today.

Since I was in middle school, <mmmg> has been one of my go-to stationery brands. It has become well-established as a concept store that offers complementary home furnishings and other things.

It's located in the basement of the Anthracite Cafe, which may be accessed from the first floor through the cafe's main entrance. (It's the second level since you're looking at the building from the back.)

​There's a tiny window by the entrance where you can see inside the shop.

​There were beautiful glass flowerpots at the entrance.

It was lovely as a decorative piece, but I debated against purchasing it for a while because I worried that the lack of holes in the bottom would prevent enough air circulation in my plant pots.

 

There were also <artek> chairs for sale.

​There was a wide variety of tableware that caught my eye. mmmg has chosen some lovely brands, and I've added them to my wish list.

Design cards created by mmmg. On a particular occasion, I think it would be lovely to write letters and cards by hand. When the stationery and card accompanying a present are also thoughtfully chosen, I am even more impressed.

 

On one side was a little mmmg office that appeared like a showroom.

 

 

Even though there was a lot of straight furniture in the mmmg store, I don't get the impression that it's stiff because of the plants' well-balanced arrangement.

Also on that side was some of the lighting that I have at home.

 

Since my days as a student, <mmmg> has remained one of my favorite brands since the company has maintained its status as a trendy concept store by consistently stocking desirable new items. As a result, I always find a wide selection of things that appeal to me whenever I shop here.

I highly recommend mmmg for everyone looking for trendy stationary and home decor.
