Rainbow fountain (Banpo Hangang park)
I visited Banpo Hangang Park with my friends who live in Seoul. The spectacular fountain performance at Hangang Park makes it a hotspot for visitors. The place was absolutely packed around 9 o'clock when we got there.
Cool busking performance right on the Hangang (river). The atmosphere was fantastic.
Food Truck
You can see the fountain from a distance.
Look at how lovely they are! For this reason, visitors keep coming to Banpo Hangang Park. Even if I haven't visited Yeouido Hangang Park, I find that I enjoy myself very much here.
On our way here, we stopped at a convenience store and picked up some liquor and a mat. Renting a picnic basket is a fantastic idea if you plan on visiting during the day.
<Rainbow fountain timetable>
Apr - Jun / Sep - Oct
19:30 - 21:00 (every 30 minutes) & noon (daytime show)
Jul - Aug
19:30 - 21:30 (every 20 minutes) & noon (daytime show)
Food trucks are also available, although the queue is too long to eat there. Delivery is the way to go, in my opinion.
Hangang Park's Rainbow Fountain was awesome.
A large number of people were present. The weather was pleasant throughout the day but somewhat cool at night. Bring your outerwear just in case.
Find a good spot where you can see the fountain.
The fountain was even more impressive after I got close to it. How awesome is Seoul!
This is the highlight of the show; the rainbow-colored fountain.
Pink-colored fountain which is my favorite color.
I immediately felt like I was on vacation when I saw them selling balloons.
At night, nearly everyone drinks at the park. On the other hand, many visitors choose to rent a picnic table and enjoy the park during the day.
CU convenience store
Since we got hungry, we went to get some Ramyun (instant noodles).
Check out the line over there... Holy crap. I got in line to buy ramyun while my friend waited in line for water.
To purchase the ramyun, simply purchase a paper bowl at the same time. One bowl with chopsticks costs 1,500 won, and each additional chopstick costs 50 won.
The recommended cooking time for ramen is five minutes from the time you hit the start button, but I added an extra minute since I prefer over-cooked ramyun. The default amount of water is fine for my taste, but you can add extra water if you want.
Even the delivery food was great. I liked the Kkochi (skewers) I had from the food truck, so I placed an order for delivery. The ramyun was fantastic, too. After all, nothing beats a bowl of ramyun in the fresh air. The food tastes considerably better when eaten outside in Hangang Park.
The fountain show eventually ended as time went on. Even yet, it was a pleasant environment overall.
Since it was too chilly, we couldn't finish all the beverages we bought from the convenience store, so we brought the rest to a friend's place to drink.
Busker
I really loved the atmosphere of Hangang Park. Seeing a busker here was one of the highlights of my life; it was the best busking performance I've ever watched.
There's absolutely a pleasant vibe here at Rainbow Fountain in Banpo Hangang Park.
