Seoul Museum of Craft Art
The Seoul Museum of Craft Art (SeMoCA), the first public museum of craft art in Korea, opened its doors in Anguk-dong, Jongno-gu in July 2021 after renovating five buildings of the former Pungmoon Girls’ High School.
SeMoCA has collected and possesses more than 20,000 pieces of craft art and craft-based materials from various eras and fields from the past to the present.
SeMoCA is currently in the process of preparing various exhibitions, programs, materials and systems, such as the Craft History Exhibition, Modern Craft Exhibition, Local Craft Exhibition, Children’s Craft Exhibition, Craft Archive, Craft Library, Craft Resource Management System, and Craft Art Installment Project.
