Seoul Sky

Seoul Sky

Although the morning started with a bit of rain, the sky had cleared by midday, making it the perfect day to visit Seoul Sky. My mother had been there before and told us how amazing it was, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to experience it for myself.

Entrance

Located on the B1 floor of Lotte World Tower, the entrance to Seoul Sky is easy to find, you can’t miss the tower since it’s visible from all over the city!

The standard admission fee is ₩27,000.

Seoul Sky spans a total of six floors, each offering something unique. Having visited observatories in other countries, I found this one to be particularly impressive.

120th Floor: A Breathtaking View of Seoul

By the time I reached the top floor, the weather had become slightly foggy, but the view was still incredible. The perspective from above is entirely different from what you see at ground level.

Looking down, I spotted Lotte World, the famous amusement park, which looked like a miniature city up high.

Skywalk

I also came across the Skywalk, a glass-floored observation deck. I didn't try it this time, but it’s definitely something I’d love to experience in the future.

The panoramic view of Seoul

Seeing Seoul’s skyline from this angle was a first for me. I often visit Namsan (Mountain) and admire the view from there, but this perspective is completely different.

One thing that stood out was the green rooftops of Korean apartments and houses. Unlike the orange rooftops commonly seen in other countries, Korea’s skyline has a unique color scheme.

I can only imagine how stunning the view must be at night, with the city lights illuminating the skyline. Next time, I’ll definitely visit after sunset to experience the breathtaking nightscape.

As the weather continued to improve, Lotte World became even clearer in view. Just before leaving, I was treated to an unforgettable sight, the sky was clearing up, and the city stretched out beautifully before me.

How amazing would it be if this were the view from my own home?

With so much more to see and do than I had expected, I highly recommend visiting Lotte World Tower’s Seoul Sky on a bright, clear day. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
