Seoul Sky
I visited Seoul Sky (Jamsil Seoul), the observation deck at Lotte World Tower where you can see the entire city from the highest point in Seoul!
It’s famous as a night view spot, so I had high expectations and it turned out even more stunning and emotional than I imagined.
Let me share everything in one go: ticket prices, discount tips, my impressions, and highlights you shouldn’t miss.
Seoul Sky is located at Jamsil Station, just come out from Exit 1 or 2.
There are fun things to see and photo spots right around the entrance. Since it’s inside Lotte World Mall, you can enjoy shopping as well.
Seoul Sky
The entrance fee is cheaper online, so I definitely recommend booking in advance.
B1 (Ticket Office)
B2 (Exhibition hall)
Sky Shuttle (The high-speed elevator)
The Sky Shuttle takes you to the 117th floor in just one minute, while showing a stunning video of Seoul’s history and present. It’s short but leaves a lasting impression.
The best night-view spot in Seoul
The entire observation area is surrounded by glass walls, so you get a clear, panoramic view. You can see the Han River, Namsan Tower, and both the Gangnam and Gangbuk skylines.
The night view in particular is breathtaking!
Recommended photo spots:
118th Floor Sky Deck: Take thrilling photos on the glass floor
120th Floor Sky Terrace: Open-air view of the city
123rd Floor Premium Lounge: Enjoy a drink with the view
118F Sky Deck
122F Sky Cafe
There’s a cozy café on the 122nd floor where you can relax with a drink or a snack.
123F Premium Lounge
The 123 Lounge on the top floor is the highest restaurant in Seoul. It’s popular in the evening, so a reservation is pretty much a must. They offer both à la carte and set menus that include the entrance ticket, which makes it a reasonable option.
Seoul Sky, the highest observation deck in Seoul at 555 meters, offers breathtaking views of the city skyline and nightscape.
Seoul Sky is perfect not only for tourists, but also for dates, family outings, or special occasions. I highly recommend going around sunset, so you can enjoy the sunset glow and night view all in one trip.
B1 (Souvenir shop)
There’s a souvenir shop at the B1 level near the exit, so don’t forget to stop by before you leave!
Overall, I had a wonderful time enjoying the views, but there were a few small downsides.
Since it was winter, some of the windows had smudges or dust, which was slightly distracting when taking photos. Also, the interior lighting was a bit too bright, especially at night. Because of this, the inside reflected on the glass, making it harder to see the city lights clearly. If they used dimmer and more atmospheric lighting at night, the night view experience would be even more magical.
