If you’re looking for the nice café near Hangangjin Station, Anthracite (Hannam, Seoul) is a great choice, especially while the weather is still pleasant.

I visited at night, but with the temperatures dropping lately, I’d recommend dressing warmly if you plan to go in the evening.

I had passed by this café so many times, always thinking, I should check it out sometime. I finally got around to visiting recently.

The first floor, where you place your orders, wasn’t very crowded. Most people were either sitting outside on the terrace or upstairs, probably because the weather wasn’t too cold that evening.

The coffee station was impressively spacious, giving off a clean and modern vibe.

They had a selection of delicious desserts available.

Drip coffee bags were also for sale, perfect for coffee lovers who want to enjoy their brews at home.

The basement houses the D&Department Seoul store. And the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors are all part of Anthracite Cafe. 

Since Anthracite has a terrace, there were quite a few adorable dogs hanging out with their owners. If you love pet-friendly cafés, this is definitely a bonus!

My friend, who’s a loyal Starbucks fan, even admitted that the coffee here was really good.

With its spacious layout, great coffee, and relaxing terrace, Anthracite Hannam is definitely worth a visit, especially during the day when you can fully enjoy the outdoor seating. If you’re looking for a trendy café in the Hannam area, this one’s a great option!
