Recently, I visited a trendy cafe in the Seoul Forest area with a friend, Camel Coffee No.7  (Seoulforest, Seoul). This spot had been on my list for a while, but every time I tried to visit, it was too crowded. This time, by avoiding the lunch rush, I finally got in!

Camel Coffee No.7 is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from Ttukseom Station’s Exit 8.

From the outside, the cafe catches your eye with its unique charm. It’s housed in an old, slightly spooky building, but once you step inside, you’re greeted by a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem in Seongsu-dong.

When you arrive, make sure to put your name on the waiting list at the entrance.

As you walk in, the bar counter is on your left, with the staff preparing drinks with care. On the opposite side, you’ll find a selection of freshly baked croissants.

The croissants are a highlight at Camel Coffee No.7. A set of 5 croissants costs 21,000 won, and the stunning packaging makes them a perfect gift. Even late in the evening, customers were still coming in to grab these delicious treats.

 

Signature Camel Coffee  6,000

One of my favorite items here is the Signature Camel Coffee, priced at 6,000 won.

It’s a small but rich and flavorful drink, crafted with two shots of espresso. If you prefer a lighter taste, you can request it with just one shot. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting the cafe!

If the ground floor is busy, you’ll find additional seating on the upper levels, accessible via an outdoor staircase. The upper floors have the same romantic ambiance, with low lighting that’s perfect for an intimate evening.

Whether you come in the morning or after dinner like I did, the warm ambiance and delicious offerings will make your visit worthwhile.
