One of our must-visit spots was Knotted (Anguk, Seoul) a well-known doughnut shop. 

I had heard about it before, but my husband discovered it through Jang Seong-Gyu’s YouTube channel, Workman where he spent a day working at Knotted. That piqued his interest, so we decided to check it out.

We arrived around 2 p.m. on Saturday, and surprisingly, there was almost no line. However, if you choose to dine in rather than opt for takeout, you might have to wait for a table.

Luckily, we only had to wait about five minutes before being seated.

Knotted's signature smiley face branding instantly lifts the mood. Until now, I had only thought of doughnuts as cute, but their cakes were just as adorable.

The café itself is beautifully designed in a Hanok (traditional Korean house) style, yet the walls are covered in graffiti, creating a fascinating blend of Eastern minimalism and Western street art. The outdoor seating area was packed with customers, as expected.

​Milk Cream Donut / Chocolate Pudding Donut / Classic Vanilla Donut

After much deliberation, we decided to try one of each of their most popular doughnuts.

Milk cream, as expected, this was the best! The bread was much softer than a typical doughnut, making it incredibly enjoyable.

Chocolate pudding, it had a taste reminiscent of chocolate milk, with a smooth and creamy consistency that was a pleasure to eat

Classic Vanilla, rich, creamy, and silky in texture absolutely delicious.

A bit tricky to eat, but since it’s Knotted’s specialty, I had to try it. It was totally worth it!

Besides their famous doughnuts, Knotted also sells adorable merchandise.

I couldn't resist picking up some cute stickers and a tin case something I didn’t necessarily need, but definitely wanted! They also offer coloring sheets that you can take home.

Even my husband, who usually isn’t a big fan of sweets, really enjoyed Knotted’s doughnuts.

On my next visit, I’ll definitely try their famous croissants. Also, I plan to stop by Randy’s Doughnuts, which is conveniently located right in front of Knotted.
