​Milestone Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee establishment.

They opened a third location in Seongsu-dong, after Apgujeong and Hannam-dong. The new store, as predicted, features excellent coffee, welcoming staff, and a constant stream of customers.

After waiting for a while, we were guided to a seat in the backyard. The air conditioning from inside the shop made the mildly warm weather outside bearable.

That day was their grand opening.

It also has the vibe of an Australian café.

Isn’t it difficult to work on a grand opening like today when there are so many customers? How can everyone be so kind and professional at their jobs?

It was incredibly tasty. Vienna coffee was excellent overall and the flat white was something special.

The combination of the bitter coffee and the smooth milk was delicious, and the flavor was amplified if consumed separately. It was a good thing I didn't ask for my coffee to be made the way I usually like it—a little weaker.

It could be that I don't enjoy acidic coffee, but when I order a flat white at most other cafés, the distinctive sourness often overwhelms the creamy taste of the milk. A lot of people say that's a classic flat white, but I didn't particularly enjoy the flavor.

However, the Flat White at Milestone didn't bother me, and the combination of coffee and milk tasted as smooth as a latte even before being stirred.

​While the quality of food at most restaurants and cafes declines as more locations open, the Milestone Seongsu location seems to have maintained its high standards.

The fact that they roast and utilize high-quality beans themselves is a significant plus, but I find that their consistently extracted and not rushed good-quality espresso shots, no matter how many customers are waiting are their key factor of tasty coffee.

It would be nice for the residents of Seongsu-dong. Compared to Hannam-dong and Dosan, I prefer the vibe in this shop.
