Pont Coffee (yongsan)

Located along the Yongsan Railway Road, just past the Hangang Bridge, you'll find this hidden gem. During a previous trip to the area, I made a note to visit Pont Coffee (Yongsan, Seoul), a café that had caught my eye.

Pont Coffee is a specialty coffee roastery offering a variety of coffee beans, each in cute, eye-catching packaging.

Inside, the café exudes a warm, wooden ambiance, with everything meticulously arranged.

As expected from a coffee roastery, the café is equipped with high-quality espresso machines, emphasizing their dedication to great coffee.

Menu

The main focus here is, of course, coffee. Due to the chilly weather, I ended up ordering a hot latte, which is rare for me, but it was exactly what I needed.

Latte 5.300 won

The dense milk foam ensured that the latte art remained intact, no matter how much I drank. It was an excellent cup of coffee.

It’s great to see that Yongnidan-gil is full of vibrant, independent roastery cafés. I’d love to see more places like Pont Coffee, where owners take the time to carefully extract the perfect cup, as opposed to commercial chain coffee shops.

Yongnidan-gil is a treasure trove of undiscovered gems, with exciting new spots always popping up. If you're in the area, don’t miss this café. It’s one of the best places to grab coffee in town.
