A big house in an alley has been turned into a lovely cafe, and it's The Barn Berlin Coffee Roasters in Yeonhui-dong.

Looking at the size of the house, the entryway is quite small.

Both the yard and the stairs are quite large.

A separate stairway also leads to the outside. I wonder how old the house is.

Looking down from the top floor offers a beautiful view as well.

You can reach The Barn Cafe on the third floor by ascending these stairs.

 

3rd Floor

When you reach the third floor, you will be greeted by delicious pastries.

 

The Barn Coffee Roasters

The coffee beans are supposedly now roasted in Korea, which is a bit disappointing. Somehow, Berlin's identity seems to be fading away!

 

Outdoor seating

The balcony of this cafe is enormous and the view is breathtaking from any table.

 

Iced Americano 6,000 won / Brewing 7,500 ~ 9,000 won

The clarity of coffee produced by brewing vs a machine is different. So, if you grab something a little muddy, it's definetely an iced Americano.

 

Tomato Basil Pastry  10,500 won

A fantastic combination of basil, tomatoes, cheese and baked pastry

 

Black Victoria  7,500 won

Delicious cake stuffed with blueberries and cream.
