PSY Drenched Show "Summer Swag"
)After a long three-year wait, Psy’s legendary “Summer Swag” concert was finally back! I had previously attended in 2018 and 2019, but due to COVID-19, the festival had been put on hold.
Originally, Gwangju City was a regular stop for "Summer Swag," but this year, it wasn’t on the list of locations. After carefully checking the available concert dates and nearby hotels, I decided to attend in both Seoul and Busan.
Getting tickets for the event was incredibly tough, understandably so, as fans had been waiting three years to release their pent-up energy! Thankfully, I managed to get tickets for both the Seoul and Busan shows without too much trouble.
The last day of the Psy Summer Swag in Seoul
While "Summer Swag" is a blast when attending with friends, going solo has its own perks. There’s no need to coordinate with others, and you can completely lose yourself in the music and atmosphere. The only downside? Waiting alone before the concert can get a bit boring.
Returning to Jamsil for the first time since the BTS concert in March, I was met with a sea of blue. During the “Summer Swag” weekend, Seoul was filled with fans wearing blue Psy-logo T-shirts, creating a festival-like vibe even outside the venue.
Since I also planned to attend the Busan concert, I decided to buy a "Summer Swag" T-shirt and a waterproof bag. From my past experiences, I realized that hanging a waterproof phone pouch around my neck was a hassle, it bounced around too much while jumping, and taking my phone in and out for pictures was annoying.

The moment "Right Now" started playing, the entire crowd exploded with energy. I screamed as loud as I could, my throat instantly regretted it, but my heart didn’t!
Sunmi (Special guest)
Since I’ve attended several of Psy’s concerts, I’ve developed a pretty good instinct for predicting guest appearances. Sunmi hadn’t shown up at the first two concerts in Incheon and Seoul, so I had a strong feeling she would appear that night. And I was right! Seeing Sunmi again after Gwangju Summer Swag 2018 was a nostalgic and exciting moment.

Simon D (Special guest)
On Day 2 of the Seoul concert, Simon D had made a surprise appearance, so I wasn’t expecting him (or any other rapper friends) to return. But deep down, I was hoping for a special guest like Suga (BTS), unfortunately, he didn’t show up.

For those who have never attended "Summer Swag", it’s impossible to imagine just how much water gets sprayed during the concert. It’s more than just mist.
It’s basically a nonstop water festival, and by the end of the concert, even my underwear was soaked!
Fireworks
The fireworks display was breathtaking, but unfortunately, a lot of ash rained down on us, covering our skin and irritating our eyes. Each time fireworks exploded on stage, a cloud of ash surrounded us, which was a bit of a disappointment.
After four intense hours of music, dancing, and screaming, the concert came to an end. It had been such a long time since I jumped, screamed, and had this much fun, it felt truly liberating!
But my Summer Swag journey isn’t over yet. I still have one last concert left: Psy’s Summer Swag in Busan. One final round to go absolutely wild before the tour ends!
