Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong (Superior, 1 Double)

Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong (Superior, 1 Double)

The Four Points by Sheraton Josun (Myeongdong, Seoul) is a fantastic Marriott hotel located in the heart of downtown Seoul. I took advantage of a limited-time Marriott offer and had an absolutely wonderful stay.

One of the best things about this hotel is its accessibility. Euljiro 3-ga Station (Subway Line 2 & 3), Exit 12 is directly connected to the hotel, making subway travel incredibly convenient.

Room #2004 (Superior, 1 Double, City view)

The view from the upper floors was stunning, offering a panoramic sight of Seoul’s iconic landmarks. Jamsil Lotte Tower on the left, Myeongdong Cathedral on the right, and Namsan Tower in the foreground.

We requested both a humidifier and an air purifier, but due to high demand, only the air purifier was available.

The room itself was comfortable for two people, and having access to streaming services like Netflix and YouTube on the TV was a great addition.

Night View

Whether during the day or night, the high-rise structure offers unobstructed views in every direction, making it a delightful place to stay.

Euljiro Golbaengi Street

The hotel is conveniently located near Euljiro Golbaengi Street, a popular area for local food. I picked up dinner there to enjoy in my room later that night. A signature ingredient in Euljiro Golbaengi (spicy whelk salad) is fresh green onions, which add a unique flavor. I also found that pairing it with eggs helped tone down the spiciness, a great combination!

Evolution Restaurant (3F)

The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations, offering over 90 seasonal dishes, every single one of them was fantastic.

Nearby Attractions

Thanks to its prime location, the hotel is within walking distance of many must-visit spots in Seoul.

1. Euljiro Nogari Alley & Manseon Hof

A short walk from the hotel, Euljiro Nogari Alley is a bustling hotspot, especially at night. The area was packed with people enjoying beer and nogari (dried pollack snacks)

2. Myeongdong

Myeongdong was as lively as ever, filled with international visitors. In the evening, the streets were lined with a wide variety of delicious street food stalls.

3. Euljiro (Hipjiro)

Nicknamed "Hipjiro", Euljiro is one of Seoul’s trendiest neighborhoods. Even on weekdays, this area is buzzing with activity. Since it’s located right in front of the hotel, exploring its cool bars, cafés, and hidden gems was incredibly easy.

4. Gwancheol-dong, Jongno

I hadn’t taken a stroll through Jongno’s Gwancheol-dong in a while, so it was nice to revisit. Seeing the area’s old-school charm still intact after so many years was refreshing, even after three decades, it feels like time has stood still.

5. Namsan

After breakfast, I decided to take a morning walk up Namsan. Namsan Dulle-Gil is a part of my usual staycation routine, but this time, I took a different route and descended via Namsan Library. The weather was beautiful, making it a perfect day to be outdoors.
