Ha Eun-jae
My friend and I were unable to take a trip because of COVID-19, so we said, "Let's make a trip to Seoul!" and spent a day at Hanok (traditional Korean house) accommodation in the Seochon area.
There are a lot of Hanok options in Seochon, but "Ha Eun-Jae" was the only one that seemed to fit our needs, so we booked a room there right away.
Because of its stunning scenery, quick action is required if you want to visit this place. Please note that the following website is the only one that may be used to make reservations.

It is said that Ha Eun-jae was inspired by 'The Hermit's Residence' the house of a person who hid from the world by 'Dasan Jeong Yak-yong' and named it 'Ha Eun-jae (下隱齋)'.
Due to the covid-19, in-person check-in is not possible; nevertheless, you will be able to receive instructions through text message on the day of check-in.
Check-in 4pm / Check-out 11am
We got there at about 5 o'clock, and there was already music playing when we walked in.
The sound of the piano had me feeling fantastic even before I stepped through the door. The ambience at the accomodation was very pleasant.
As soon as I walked in, I felt the welcoming warmth.
How well the lights illuminate the hanok.
The ground was already warm, and the heater was turned on.
You may watch Netflix while soaking your feet in the foot bath, which is located directly across from this sofa.
Bedroom
Ha Eun-jae's Cotone brand linens were incredibly soft and luxurious to the touch. Because to the heated duvet, I was able to get a good night's sleep.
Two translucent doors, one on the inside and one on the outside, make up the windows.
Even though the wind was noted in one of the reviews, I never noticed it. During the day, I didn't feel the slightest bit of chill.
Since the speaker and iPad were synced, I played some cafe-like music from YouTube to set the mood.
A hair dryer and four hangers are available in the drawer.
I really like this kind of atmosphere ♥
The kitchen is next to the dining area and is somewhat compact. It was very tight for even two individuals.
A cute and compact cooking space
The kitchen was well-supplied with pots, pans, and other cooking implements.
After exploring the area and taking photographs, I realized I was starving and decided to order some food.
On the way to the accomodation, I stopped at Shinsegae Department Store and picked us some white wine and a cake.
Food was ordered at J.Alley and Salt House Deli. Unfortunately, the Jambon Beurre I wanted to taste at Salt House Deli was completely out of stock.
- J.Alley: Squid ink aranchini, Whole tomato ricotta salad, Chorizo aglio Olio
- Salt house Deli: Sampler board
After I posted a picture to my Instagram account, my pals wanted to know more about the eatery.
Moscato, a sweet, lightly sparkling wine, went wonderfully with the meal.
After having to postpone my end-of-year party because of COVID-19, I was relieved to finally be celebrating.
Cheers 🥂
At seven o'clock the following morning, I awakened early to take advantage of the hanok's peaceful early-morning ambience.
Since rain was predicted and the sky was overcast, I was unable to enjoy the sun's warmth streaming in through the window.
The entire home had a pleasant aroma thanks to this room spray.
Thanks to Ha Eun-jae, I was able to take a day off work and unwind in pleasant circumstances. I'd want to return here to unwind when I'm feeling worn out from work again.
