Last weekend, I enjoyed a relaxing hotel staycation at Josun Palace Seoul. We were accommodated in a Grand Masters King Room for our visit.

Guests of the Grand Masters Room include a breakfast buffet and have access to the hotel's facilities such as a fitness center, sauna, and swimming pool.

 

Check-in (25F Grand Reception)

Guests can check in at the 25th-floor Grand Reception. They had our room ready for us before 3 o'clock, so we could check in right away.

 

Coffee & Cookies  (12:00 - 18:00 / Break time 15:00 - 16:00)​

The Grand Reception is an exclusive area for guests, offering coffee, tea, juice, biscuits, and coffee, among other things.

 

32F - Grand Masters Room (King bed)

Our luggage was already in the room. Thanks be to the bellhop, who thankfully placed it on the shelf instead of leaving it just on the floor.

Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view.

Josun Deli (Hotel bakery) cake was brought to our room by the hotel because my husband had requested an anniversary celebration.

Besides the vibrant and chicly crafted sofa, a nice-looking air purifier was set up.

As one would anticipate from a brand-new hotel, having full control of the room via tablet was a huge convenience. (Thermostat, room service, concierge, etc.)

At the Josun Palace Hotel, you'll find an abundance of tasty treats in the minibar.

Whiskies, coffee capsules, drinks, beers, and glasses of all shapes and sizes.

In the fridge, you could find Wine and champagne, although it was priced significantly higher than what you'd pay at the store. Therefore, bring your own wine or buy some from the 24th-floor wine shop.​

The Samsung Air Dresser was a wonderful addition for storing clothes.

 

Bathroom

Stunning panorama of Gangnam downtown! Even at night, the view was breathtaking.

We went swimming, then had dinner at The Great Hongyeon (36F, Chinese cuisine) and the 1914 Lounge Bar (24F). When we got back to our room, we were greeted with red wine and light snacks.

 

Stay Delight (18:00 - 21:00, Room service)

​​A bottle of red wine, some bites, and fruit make up the "Stay Delight" room service. We booked a room that included this service. I was pleased to see the tasty fruit, as well as my favorite cheeses (brie and pecorino).

The included red wine, however, was of low quality, which was a letdown. In comparison to the delicious snacks, the wine was a bit disappointing. A California Chardonnay (white) is also available upon request at the time of check-in.

 

Constans (breakfast), 24F

We had breakfast at Constans Restaurant after a morning sauna. Since our room rate included breakfast, we could enjoy it at no extra cost.

The food was all amazing. Especially French toast was incredibly popular due to its exceptional softness and deliciousness; consequently, a waiting line formed later on.

Having a range of freshly squeezed juices and veggie dishes was great because I normally have salad or vegetables for breakfast.

Coffee and tea can be ordered at the table.

Twelve varieties of jam and sauces, including Isigny Butter, are available in the jam corner.

An excellent breakfast buffet was available at the Josun Palace Hotel. Of all the hotels I've been at in Seoul recently, this one was the most restful and enjoyable hotel staycation.
