Josun Palace Seoul (Grand Masters Room, King bed)
Last weekend, we treated ourselves to a relaxing staycation at Josun Palace Seoul, where we stayed in a Grand Masters Room. The experience was filled with comfort, elegance, and delightful surprises from start to finish.
Check-in (25F Grand Reception)
Check-in took place on the 25th floor at the Grand Reception, an exclusive area for Grand Masters guests. The staff welcomed us warmly and, to our delight, had our room ready before 3 pm, allowing us to settle in without delay.
Coffee & Cookies (12:00 - 18:00 / Break time 15:00 - 16:00)
While waiting briefly, we enjoyed a selection of refreshments offered in the lounge: coffee, tea, juice, and cookies (available from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with a break from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm).
32F - Grand Masters Room (King bed)
Upon entering our 32nd-floor room, we were greeted by a breathtaking view of Gangnam’s cityscape, which became even more stunning after sunset. Our luggage had already been delivered and neatly placed on the shelf, thanks to the thoughtful bellhop service.
The room itself was spacious and beautifully designed, with a cozy yet chic atmosphere. A stylish sofa added a pop of character, while a sleek air purifier blended seamlessly into the decor.
One highlight was the in-room tablet control system, which allowed us to adjust everything from the thermostat to room service requests and even contact the concierge.
The refrigerator was stocked with wine and champagne, though at a premium price. For those who prefer to bring their own, there is a wine shop on the 24th floor, a more affordable option.
Another convenient touch was the inclusion of a Samsung AirDresser, perfect for refreshing our clothes during our stay.
Bathroom
The bathroom was equally luxurious, stocked with high-end amenities from BYREDO, adding a touch of indulgence to our daily routine.
Our evening began with a refreshing swim, followed by dinner at The Great Hongyeon (36th floor), where we savored delicious Chinese cuisine. Afterward, we visited the iconic 1914 Lounge Bar (24th floor) for cocktails with a panoramic view of the glittering Seoul skyline.
Stay Delight (18:00 - 21:00, Room service)
Upon returning to our room, we enjoyed the Stay Delight room service (available from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm), which included a bottle of red wine, cheese, fruit, and light snacks. The brie and pecorino cheeses, paired with fresh fruit, were delightful.
Constans (breakfast), 24F
The next morning, after a rejuvenating sauna session, we enjoyed breakfast at Constans Restaurant (24th floor), included with our room rate.
The breakfast spread was exceptional. The French toast, praised for its soft texture and delicious flavor, was a crowd favorite, and we were glad to have tried it before the line grew. We also appreciated the selection of freshly squeezed juices and a variety of vegetable dishes, which was perfect for my usual breakfast routine of salad and greens.
From the stunning room and excellent dining experiences to the thoughtful anniversary surprise, every detail at Josun Palace Seoul contributed to a truly memorable stay. Among all the recent hotel staycations I’ve experienced in Seoul, this was by far the most relaxing and enjoyable.
