Moxy Hotel Insadong (1 Double, Guest room)
The Hotel Moxy Seoul Insadong is conveniently situated in the heart of Seoul's Jongno district, close to a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and landmarks. It's a chain of Marriott, so you know it's going to be a nice place to stay.
Marriott Elite
A free breakfast for one person is available for the Marriott Elite Gift Bonus. You can also select one of three more options: a free breakfast for one, 500 points, or a $10 voucher. 4 p.m. checkout extension was also available.
Marriott Moxy Hotel may be found in both Insa-dong and Myeong-dong. Despite the negative reviews I had read about the hotel's small rooms and difficult parking, I decided to finally visit one of the Marriott chain's connected hotels and have a relaxing stay.
The hotel has a parking area at the rear, however, due to its tight confines, we advise guests to leave their cars at home.

Feel the energy of youth in this sensual and lovely hotel.
16F (Lobby)
Check-in and out at the Moxy bar on the sixteenth floor. The front desk, designed in the style of a bar, was an interesting touch.
There is a rooftop bar on the sixteenth floor with a view of Namsan Tower, perfect for relaxing with an ice-cold beer on a sunny day.
It was great to be able to see Namsan and Ikseon-dong Hanok Village right amid the city from the rooftop bar's outside seating area.
#1403 Guest room, 1 Double (City view)
At a look, you can see the Ikseon-dong Hanok Village and Jongmyo Park in the background.
Although the room is somewhat small, the area close to the door is quite large, which makes the atmosphere feel less cramped. The hotel is decorated with a lot of pink details. The room's trash bin, drier, and bathroom amenities are all colored pink.
The toilet features a bidet, the shower booth is spacious, and it appears to have been well-used. The sink area is also partitioned off from the rest of the bathroom.
After first confirming that it would be difficult because they were out of stock, they eventually installed the humidifier and air purifier I had asked for in my room.

The room's board describes the breakfast and rooftop afternoon tea options.
1F Lounge
The hotel's first-floor lounge is a private area accessible only with a key card. It was a fun spot to hang out and play cards or board games with friends.
From 18:00 to 7:00 a.m., the main door on the 1st floor is locked and guests will need to provide their room key to exit the building.
B1 Laundry and Locker
Guests have access to this self-service laundry room around the clock. For 4,000 won, you can use the laundromat's machines and dryers; detergent is included. Long-term visitors may find it to their liking.
You can use the free locker by requesting a PIN code from the front desk.
2F Breakfast, Lounge, Fitness center
On the second level, guests can enjoy a semi-buffet breakfast for KRW 25,000 per adult and KRW 15,000 per child. Breakfast is available daily between 7:30 and 10:00.
Long-term guests will appreciate the hotel's fitness center, located directly across from the breakfast area.
From the second story, you can see our teddy bear lounging in the first-floor lounge below. The hotel has a convenient location since it can be accessed directly from Exit 4 of Jongno 3-ga Station.
It is always necessary to bring the card key to open the gate to the breakfast area on the second floor.
The second-floor Lounge features a water purifier, coffee maker, and microwave and is available to guests around the clock, not just during breakfast hours.
The semi-buffet breakfast had a limited selection, but I was able to find what I was looking for and had a great morning.
Rice noodles, omelets, and fried eggs are all available upon request.
Several international guests were seen at the reasonably priced Marriott Moxy Insadong. Many people, I believe, are in search of it because of its convenient location, reasonable prices, and convenient public transportation options.
*Attractions within a short distance
1. Gwangjang Market
Whenever you visit Gwangjang Market, you'll feel the buzz of its constant activity. So many people were there even though it was a weekday. There was a long line for the twisted doughnut at the market's entrance, so it must be popular.
2. Ikseon-dong Hanok Village
Ikseon-dong Hanok Village is located just in front of the hotel, and it is a lively and exciting place to spend some time. There were so many people in Ikseon-dong even on a weekday that popular eateries were nearly full.
3. Pagoda Park
I haven't visited Pagoda Park in quite some time. During the Independence Movement Day (March 1), the Declaration of Independence was first read in Pagoda Park, making it a major historical site.
4. Insa-dong
The yellow Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) made an impression even in Insa-dong, signaling the arrival of spring. Insa-dong is usually bustling with activity, drawing visitors from all over the world.
5. Cheong-gye-cheon
I had breakfast at the hotel and then had a stroll along Cheonggyecheon. The frigid weather discouraged many from going for a walk, although Cheonggyecheon is lovely in any season.
6. Gwanghwamun Plaza
The scent of spring at Gwanghwamun Plaza welcomes the season's return.
The hotel is lovely, there are plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, and the staff is pleasant and welcoming, although the rooms are a bit small.
