With my coworkers, we decided to eat at Downtowner (Cheongdam). This is one of the reasons why I enjoy my job in Cheongdam-dong.

 

Trendy black and blue interior

A burger joint in the downtown area decked out in black and blue. While reds and yellows are traditional for restaurants, cool colors have been used to create a more modern and hipper atmosphere.

Usually, there is a wait, but we visited at 12:30 and were seated within 10 minutes.

Menu

8,300 won for a cheeseburger. It's a bit pricey compared to other burger joints because it's a handcrafted gourmet burger. The location in Cheongdam and the fact that it's a craft burger drive up prices.

A wide selection of chicken and fries, among other sides, are also available.

For an extra 9,500 won, you can get a combo deal that includes chicken, fries, and soda in addition to the burger. It's something I need to try the next time when I'm here alone.

Gourmet burger with 100% beef patties

 

Avocado Burger  10,800 won

This is the downtowner’s signature menu. The patties are made from 100% beef, there is bacon, avocado, and a pinch of pepper on top. The ingredients are just right. Both the mushy avocado and the handcrafted patty are delicious. This gourmet burger is excellent in every way.

 

Cheese Fries  5,800 won

Hot cheddar cheese melted on top of cheese fries. The cheese was abundant, and everything tasted fantastic.

 

Truffle Parmesan Fries  7,300 won

Wow, this was tasty as well! Truffle and parmesan cheese combined to create an amazing flavor. Depending on how you feel about truffles, you'll either love this or hate it. If you're a fan of truffles, you'll love this meal.
