Saebyukjib (Cheongdam store), a famous restaurant for Yukhoe Bibimbap. I've recently taken to doing some light walking exercises, while it's still challenging and my legs drag afterward, I can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment.

A few days ago, I went out to exercise with a friend and, when deciding where to eat lunch, the restaurant Saebyukjib popped into my head.

The last time I visited Saebyukjib restaurants was a while ago.

The red roof is the valet booth. The valet service charge now totals 5,000 won. The posh neighborhood of Cheongdam-dong.

​​It was lunchtime, so as expected, it was full of diners.

This place is like a maze on the inside; it's incredibly spacious. There's more space once you're inside, and still more after you walk deeper inside, yet it's constantly bustling with diners.

We ordered two Yukhoe Bibimbap. I was looking forward to the bibimbap so much because it had been so long. The person I went with had never been to the Saebyukjip before, so I was apprehensive about what to do if I didn't like it.

However, turned out I was worried for nothing.

Constantly served together, Yukhoe Bibimbap and Seonji Haejangguk. That color is just mouthwatering.

Add some Gochujang (red pepper paste) to your liking and mix it.

Seonji Haejangguk is another big reason why diners are so enthusiastic about this eatery. This Seonji Haejangguk is delicious, however, it was unfortunate that the person I brought along with me couldn't eat Seonji.

Now, add some Gochujang (red pepper paste) and a small amount of soup to your bibimbap, then mix them all together. Absolutely delicious!

Even though I'm not a huge fan of rice (I do, however, appreciate many other foods), the Yukhoe Bibimbap is too good to pass up.

I can't decide if this is an excellent Yukhoe Bibimbap or a nice Seonji Haejangguk restaurant because they're both so tasty.

The area was too packed with diners for me to take any photos.

It was a last-minute decision, but we both enjoyed our meals and left happy. My friend pleasantly surprised me by taking care of the entire bill, and I couldn't be more appreciative of her kindness and generosity.
