On a beautiful day, I took a stroll through Yeonhui-dong (Seoul) and enjoyed a delicious bowl of Yeonhui-dong Kalguksu for lunch.

As side dishes, they served two wonderful varieties of kimchi: geotjeori and yeolmu white kimchi.

Kalguksu (knife cut noodles) 10,000 won 

Although I often visit Yeonhui-dong, today was my first time dining at this restaurant.

The noodles were topped with vibrant, colorful ingredients, and the creamy, milky soup complemented them perfectly. With just a hint of pepper, they taste even better.

As the rainy season approaches, kalguksu often comes to mind. While I personally prefer seafood kalguksu, it's equally delicious when served with a hearty meat broth.
