Located near Gyeongbokgung Palace, the Andersson Bell (Bukchon, Seoul) exudes the charm of a luxurious house, blending contemporary design with artistic elements.

Having missed the chance to fully capture the space during its grand opening, I returned to explore and soak in its unique atmosphere.

From the outside, the Andersson Bell banner attached to the neighboring construction site is not just practical but artistic, a subtle yet impactful detail that reflects the brand’s design ethos.

Inside, the space felt more like a curated art gallery than a typical retail store. On the opening day, the influx of fashionable guests made it challenging to take in all the details, but revisiting allowed me to truly appreciate the space.

 

Sneaker collaboration with Asics

Andersson Bell has infused its unique aesthetic into ASICS’ iconic designs, resulting in a collection that feels both functional and artistic.

As you enter the store, the women’s collection awaits on the right.

​The men’s collection stands out for its masterful use of color. Rather than relying on solid shades, most pieces incorporate three or more complementary tones, creating visually striking designs that are as bold as they are beautiful.

On the top floor, the ASICS collaboration line is prominently displayed, along with additional women’s collections.

The terrace offers a view that was once dominated by a construction site but is now cleverly transformed with an Andersson Bell banner, turning the area into a prime photo spot.

The Andersson Bell flagship store in Bukchon is more than just a shopping destination, it's an artistic experience. The garments, while exquisitely designed, may feel a little daring for someone like me to wear. However, the store itself, with its curated fixtures and thoughtful decor, was a joy to explore.
