On Friday, I had the chance to visit KITH (Seongsu, Seoul), the latest addition to Seoul’s vibrant retail scene. Located in Seongsu-dong, this flagship store has been on my radar since it opened in May, and I couldn’t wait to explore it.

If you’re unfamiliar with KITH, it’s an American concept store that blends high-end lifestyle goods, street culture, and collaboration projects with a unique and luxurious touch.

Having visited their Shibuya store in Tokyo before, I was excited to see how KITH’s Seoul outpost compared.

Situated near the Ader Error Seongsu store, KITH Seoul stands out with its red brick exterior, exuding elegance and sophistication. As the second KITH store in Asia and only the fourth globally (following Tokyo, London, and their U.S. locations), this store has quickly become a must-visit destination in Seoul.

Despite it being a weekday, there was a short queue when I arrived around 5 p.m. I waited about 20 minutes to enter, as KITH limits the number of customers inside to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. If you’re planning a weekend visit, expect longer wait times.

 

1F (Fragrance, Accessory, Eyewear, Reception)

Walking into the store, I was greeted by friendly staff and an interior that felt even more luxurious than the Tokyo location. The entrance featured a display of flowers from Plants on the Shelf, adding a fresh, vibrant touch.

The first floor primarily serves as a welcome area, with a small but carefully curated selection of items

Unique jewelry pieces and Balenciaga eyewear collection.

Toward the back, a reception area impressed me with its thoughtful and chic design. This floor also features a closet full of vinyl records, adding to the boutique-like atmosphere.

The second floor is where most of the action happens, with a wide array of clothing and footwear for men, women, and kids. The floor itself is a fashion statement, featuring KITH’s signature ornate Spanish tiles.

2F (Men, Women, Kids)

One wall is dedicated to sneakers, featuring brands like Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Asics, Nike, Salomon, Keen, Hoka One One, Merrell, Clarks, Mihara Yasuhiro, and Dr. Martens. If you’re looking for the latest trends, this is the place to be.

Mens

The men’s section offers clothing from Acne Studios, Jil Sander, and Our Legacy (a trending brand in Korea). It’s a thoughtfully curated space with plenty of stylish options.

Women

Behind the sneaker wall lies the women’s collection, which focuses heavily on KITH’s own label.

Kids

The kids’ section, located behind the women’s area, features a variety of clothing and shoes for newborns, kids, and teens. Streetwear for little ones never looked so adorable, and I found myself drawn to several outfits that would be perfect for babies.

 

Seoul Capsule Collection

To celebrate the store’s opening, KITH released a Seoul Capsule Collection, which includes tees and hoodies featuring Taegeuk designs (inspired by the Korean flag) and Namsan Tower graphics.

 

Treats

KITH Seoul also houses a TREATS ice cream shop, located outside the store. On weekdays, the line was short, and I regretted not having time to try their ice cream. After hearing great things about it, I’m already planning to come back with my husband to give it a try.

From the chic ambiance to the impressive collection of clothing and shoes, it’s clear that KITH has put a lot of thought into their Seoul flagship.

While the crowds may have died down a bit since its grand opening, the store still feels buzzing with energy and creativity. I can’t wait to see what collaborations KITH Seoul has in store next, and I’ll definitely be back to explore further.
