On a recent trip to Hongdae and Hapjeong area, I stopped by the flagship store of Thisisneverthat in addition to multiple other brand showrooms.

Once called the Supreme of Teenagers, Thisisneverthat is a Korean streetwear label. Nonetheless, the brand's recent collection launches and store atmosphere have shown the direction they want to take, and Thisisneverthat has quickly become a beloved choice for consumers of all ages.

I used to be hesitant to buy the brand because of this, but now I typically buy items anytime I see something nice.

Compared to the shop at The Hyundai Seoul (department store), this one in Hongdae is much bigger and has a far wider selection of items.

Our first stop was at the hat display section because we were in search of caps to complement our Thisisneverthat clothing.

Various hats were available, ranging from colorful ones that are perfect for the warmer months to more muted ones that match everything.

Additional options include mesh and trucker caps.

Some ball caps with lettering

Mesh style caps that are suitable for the outdoors or gorp-core look

And a section with vintage-washed ball caps and bucket hats.

Feel free to try on as many hats as you want; I did just that, and my favorite one was this Double Stitch Onyx Cap Navy (45,000 won). The fabric has been bio-washed, and the logo is gently stitched into the front.

You can also find a large selection of garments in the Hongdae store. Me and my husband also took a look at the latest 24SS collection.

I found this regular-fit striped shirt very cute. Right now, I really like striped patterns.

I thought the design was lovely, and it would complement rather wide-legged pants nicely.

Since summer is just around the corner, me and my husband browsed the T-shirts as well.

These T-shirts were just wonderful, with a perfect color combination. Pants in colors of ivory or light pink would complement it nicely.

On one side, you could see the women's collection, although it didn't have many things.

We ended up purchasing the cap we loved best.

On April 27, the flagship store of ThisIsNeverThat in Jeju Island will also open. In addition to the opening ceremony, they mentioned that the Jeju store would be featuring exclusive things, so if you're interested, you should definitely check it out.
