Poset (Yeonhui)
A postcard library? or an Archive?
Postcard collectors, artists, and creatives will appreciate this gallery-like area. You can check it out for free or buy something from there. It was a weekday when I visited Poset (Yeonhui).
I used to work as an editorial designer. The desire to create visual art, such as designs and illustrations, is always there in my life.
Poset has two locations, Poset (Jeonpo) in Busan and Poset (Yeonhui) in Seoul. Like Poset Yeonhui, Poset Jeonpo in Busan is also located in a slightly outdated building.
Poset Yeonhui can be found on the third floor of the Yeonhui Building.
Despite this cool and vintage exterior. If you get closer...
An ultra-contemporary postcard archive with meticulous shelving appears. You may get a wide variety of postcards, including many with illustrations.
Postcards are great because you can buy a small, affordable print of an illustrator's painting and preserve it forever. Postcards by some of my favorite artists were also for sale.
Postcards are available for purchase and writing at this table.
Warmgrey tail (artist) @warmgreytail
He's my favorite artist. Although the illustration is simplistic, both the colors and the merchandise are attractive.
It looks like a library.
Soosoojin (artist) @_soosoojin
Limpalimpa (artist) @limpalimpa_official
Supplies for writing, such as pencils and pens.
Behind the counter, you'll find this wall. When I was there, I didn't realize that postcards were arranged to resemble a sprinting black rabbit, but now I see why.
These are the keys to the Archive. You can utilize the archive on your own, with a partner, or with a group of friends.
If you have any questions about usage, you can ask the front desk, where they also promised to hand over a key for the duration of your contract. It's great for solo use or pairing up with a buddy.
11,000 won (per month)
How on earth did they come up with that? That idea is awesome!
Postcards can also be crafted using thread.
Although I've recently become fixated on monochromatic illustrations, the sight of a watercolor painting after a long absence always cheers me up.
The bright colors of the postcards made it an enjoyable space to relax and find motivation. It was hard to pick one, so I ended up buying a bunch of them.
Yeonhui-dong is a great place to go for a stroll on a sunny day, whether you're looking for a date spot or some creative inspiration.
