The Emis (Hannam Flagship Store) I visited with my friend last weekend.

Although Emis once ran a showroom in Hannam-dong back alley, it is currently closed. The new Flagship Store is located in a slightly different location from where the showrooms are located.

Emis even provides its visitors with a sizable parking lot. No cars were in the lot, but plenty of customers were in line. At the entrance, the staff helps the waiting guests to enter again according to the number of people leaving.

Bags in a wide range of materials and styles. Perhaps most importantly, the reasonable price of Emis goods contributed to their widespread success.

This swimwear caught my eye because I'm currently taking swimming lessons. There are plenty of swimsuits on display in the Hannam showroom, signaling the arrival of summer.

The clear pouch appeared to be a part of the Emis swimsuit, which was valued at 92,000 won.

Mini green bag with a checkered pattern. I would have purchased it without hesitation if the material were similar to nylon. Something flashy wasn't my thing.

The little Emis logo patch was adorable, so I tried to buy one, but it was out of stock. It was great that there was such a wide selection on display, but it would be more helpful if out-of-stock items were clearly labeled.

Iconic caps from Emis

Colorful Emis caps of all styles. There appeared to be three distinct varieties of logos.

I finally put both of these caps back since I couldn't decide between the orange and the green.

The brown cap on the left was the one my pal chose. The two-tone cap was an option I kept thinking about. However, I was not completely sure.

And finally, this is the sky-blue cap I picked out. As soon as I saw this hat on the shelf, I tried it on and liked it so much that I instantly purchased it.

You'll see a tiny price difference depending on the color.

Because of the popularity, it is often remarked that we must purchase Emis goods when they are in stock. A buddy of mine claimed that even after setting an alarm to remind her to restock, she never heard back.

Thick paper was used to form the inner part of the cap to keep it from being squashed. The material and care instructions were sewn into a patch on the inside of the cap.

Thankfully, I was able to get a lovely cap, so overall, it was a good shopping experience. If you visit the showroom and the color you like is a popular one, you should probably buy it straight away if it's available.
