Bonanza Coffee, based in Berlin, is a top-five European coffee.

After the success of the first store in Korea, Myeong-dong area, the flagship store opened another store in the Gunja area. Gunja is within walking distance of my house, so I went there as soon as I heard the news.

Because of the pleasant weather, a large number of people chose to drink their coffee in the open air.

I also wanted to sip coffee outside and enjoy the scenery, but my mum said there was too much dust and we should stay inside...

There was a lot of staff, probably due to the brunch menu being available instead of just coffee.

Bonanza Coffee is located on the first and second levels. We sat on the first floor, and there were many people on the second floor, which was hot because the windows were closed.

 

Feta salad open sandwich 8,500 / Garlic shrimp open sandwich 9,000

Although I was tempted to eat it, I gave up since I knew my mother would be nagging me. I'll surely have a sandwich when I return with my sister or friends.

 

Americano 4,800 / Vanilla Latte 6,000

Since I'm not an expert in coffee's flavor, the taste was normal. When compared to Starbucks, it has a milder acidity and less bitterness.

 

Second floor

They created a laptop zone since Sejong University and Konkuk University are close to Bonanza Coffee Gunja.

Due to the size of the café, the table space is wide and open, making it comfortable and nice.

​On the second level, to the left of the fire escape, you'll find a clean bathroom.

My mom and I enjoy going to cafes, but whenever we do, I have the feeling that we ought to leave fast and start worrying about something. She really doesn't like sitting in cafes for more than half an hour...., so I drank my coffee rapidly.

As I turned to leave, I noticed a display of Bonanza merchandise at the door.

Because there is a dedicated area for the roasting process, you can have faith in the coffee beans you buy here. please inquire at the cashier for the price.

Based on what I've seen on Instagram, it appears that influencers are starting to visit as of today. I believe it will be good to go before the place becomes overrun with people after the advertising campaign with influencers begins.
