I had the chance to visit Daechung Park Inwangsan (Daechung Yuwonji), one of Seochon’s most well-known cafés. To get there, simply take the elevator to the fourth floor of the distinctive gray building.

Daechung Park Inwangsan (Seochon, Seoul) is a place where you can enjoy a sweet treat, a warm drink, and great coffee all in one setting. Though compact in size, the café’s unique layout includes both indoor and outdoor seating, offering a mix of cozy and open-air experiences.

Since the café has limited capacity, it’s often crowded, and wait times can be long. However, during our visit, we were lucky enough to enjoy a leisurely coffee break, perhaps because the cloudy weather kept the usual crowd away.

Every corner of the café is filled with beautiful design elements, including a pebbled floor, giving the space an artistic and well-curated feel. It’s clear that the owner has put a lot of thought into every detail.

Menu

Beyond coffee and tea, the menu also features whiskey, wine, and some unique tea blends, making it a versatile spot for different tastes.

On that chilly day, my friend opted for a hot coffee, while I went for a comforting cup of tea. Both drinks were flavorful and well-prepared.

The café has a mix of bar seating, small tables, and a charming outdoor area. The open-air section was a highlight, providing a serene spot to relax and enjoy the scenery, even under the cloudy sky.

One of the main reasons people visit Daechung Park Inwangsan is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. From the terrace, you can look out over Seochon Village, with its traditional Hanok rooftops, and beyond to the majestic Inwangsan Mountain.

This café offers a rare, panoramic glimpse of the neighborhood, making it a perfect escape from the city's hustle.

We both loved the flavor of the coffee and tea, and the ambiance was truly special. While the service left something to be desired, the incredible views, serene atmosphere, and delicious drinks more than made up for it.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind, soak in the scenery, and enjoy a great cup of coffee, Daechung Park Inwangsan is well worth a visit!
