I've been familiar with the name EERT for quite some time. This well-known teahouse has multiple locations, including Mangwon-dong and near Gyeongbokgung Palace.

While wandering around Mangwon-dong, I stumbled upon a beautifully designed café that immediately caught my attention. The unique atmosphere drew me in, and as I got closer, I realized it was EERT (Mangwon, Seoul)! Without hesitation, I stepped inside. 

EERT Mangwon is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a moment of tranquility. Even from the outside, the café's warm, subdued lighting creates a captivating ambiance, inviting visitors to step in and stay a while.

Inside, the interior is absolutely lovely. The peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to savor a cup of tea and relax, a true escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

 

6 types of Tea

While tea is the star of the menu, EERT also offers filter coffee, milk tea, and ades, providing something for everyone.

One of the highlights was watching the tea and coffee being freshly prepared right in front of us. Under the café’s warm lighting, the elegant tea kettles, delicate cups, and serving equipment looked even more charming.

At EERT, you may choose from six kinds of tea: herbal, fruit, black, hojicha, green, and summer (a seasonal blend).

This was my first time trying Summer Tea, and I was pleasantly surprised! Unlike traditional teas, it had a refreshing, beverage-like quality, with a flavor somewhere between passion fruit and yogurt, a unique and delicious experience.

For coffee lovers, EERT offers decaffeinated, Ethiopian, and Guatemalan options, ensuring a quality cup for every preference.

One of my favorite aspects of EERT Mangwon was its spacious second floor. Tucked away from the busier cafés in the area, this hidden retreat offers a quiet and comfortable setting to fully enjoy your drink.

If you're looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy high-quality tea in Mangwon-dong, or simply want to escape the noise for a bit, EERT Mangwon is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be coming back!
