After enjoying lunch near Dosan Park, my husband and I headed to Felt Coffee (Dosan, Seoul), a café renowned for its exceptional coffee. Nestled in the heart of Apgujeong Rodeo Street, this sleek and stylish black building is none other than the Juun.J Flagship Store.

Felt Coffee is uniquely housed within this high-fashion boutique, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a perfectly brewed cup of coffee while browsing the latest Jun.J collection.

Just outside, you’ll find Felt Coffee’s outdoor terrace, featuring a massive flowerpot sculpture. While I have no idea what it represents, its striking presence certainly adds to the artistic ambiance.

Inside, the café’s layout is refreshingly unconventional. Instead of traditional tables where guests sit across from each other, long bar-style seating lines both the upper and lower areas, encouraging visitors to sit facing outward. This setup provides an uninterrupted view of the impressive outdoor sculpture, creating a unique coffee-drinking experience.

Felt Coffee originally began in Changjeon-dong, where it transformed a small piano academy into a specialty coffee shop. Though that original location has since closed, the brand has expanded, with outposts in D-Tower Gwanghwamun and this prime spot in Apgujeong, near Dosan Park.

The café’s contemporary black interior, combined with an open bar concept, creates a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. Natural light floods the space, thanks to the exceptionally high ceiling, making it feel both modern and inviting.

 

Menu

Felt Coffee offers a meticulously curated selection of coffee beans, allowing visitors to choose their preferred flavor profile. Their menu includes espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, cold brew, vegan lattes, and even non-coffee options.

It’s no surprise that coffee lovers are willing to travel long distances just to experience a cup from Felt Coffee. This is precisely why they choose not to open in overly commercial areas. Instead, they prioritize quality over convenience, attracting only those who genuinely appreciate good coffee.

If this café were closer to my home, I would visit every single day.
