Fritz Coffee (dohwa store)
I used to think that going to a cafe with a group of people was always more fun, but lately, I’ve realized there’s something special about enjoying a quiet moment at a cafe alone. One of my go-to spots for these solo coffee breaks is Fritz Coffee (Gongdeok, Seoul) a place known for its delicious coffee and tasty bread. Whenever I’m in the area, I make it a point to stop by.
The cafe is conveniently located near Seoul Garden Hotel and just a 300-meter walk from Gongdeok Station’s Exit 8.
The entrance is easy to spot, with its hanok-inspired design and charming vintage aesthetic, perfectly blending tradition with modern flair.
As I entered, I noticed a sign announcing the bread preparation times, which is such a helpful touch. Next time, I’ll make sure to come back at just the right moment to enjoy the freshest batch!
Outside, the first-floor seating area, complete with rainbow parasols, provides a cheerful spot to relax.
The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, followed by the irresistible scent of baking bread. Even though I wasn’t particularly hungry, I couldn’t help but crave a taste of their offerings.
Fritz Coffee is famous for its bread and pastries, and it’s easy to see why. My personal favorite is the "Chief’s Special Yellow Peach", a perfect balance of flavors that pairs beautifully with a cup of coffee.

Menu
Their menu caters to all preferences, with options like decaf and oat milk, making it accessible for everyone. Prices are reasonable, and they even offer coffee brewed to order, with clearly labeled beans so you can choose the flavor profile that suits your taste.
For espresso lovers, espresso blends are also available.
Whole beans & Merchandise
Fritz Coffee isn’t just about drinks and pastries—it’s also a paradise for coffee enthusiasts and collectors. Their seal-themed design is adorable and can be found on cups, glasses, badges, and posters. My personal favorite is their shot glasses, which make for a fun and functional souvenir.
They also sell beautifully packaged coffee beans, capsules, and drip bags, making it easy to bring a piece of Fritz Coffee home.
Fritz coffee latte 5,000 KRW
I ordered a Fritz Coffee Latte (5,000 KRW), and I was blown away. Served in a cup featuring their signature seal design, it was smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor.
It was so good that I almost went back for a second one! This place is clearly popular for a reason, and I’m already planning to return with a friend to try their Americano and brewed coffee.
Seoul has countless amazing coffee shops, but Fritz Coffee stands out for its quality, cozy vibe, and exceptional offerings. The Dohwa Store is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy delectable coffee and bread in a charming setting.
