Scoff Bakehouse (seochon)
I adore coming here because they have the best brownies ever and I can never find them anywhere else.
About 15 minutes walk will get you to Scoff (seochon) from Gyeongbokgung Station's Exit 2.
Getting there requires entering an alleyway in a residential neighborhood. Though buses are available, the area's various attractions make it more convenient to explore on foot.
Because of its location within the alley, first-time visitors may be confused. You can easily find it by following the main road straight up and turning into the alley on the left.
The bread smell will lead you right to the door!
We walked right in and picked up some bread.
Every time I've visited, there have been a lot of people, making it tough to snap photos, but today was manageable.
The Scoff cake stand is a feature of British bakeries, as seen from above. It's a beautiful day, and the sunlight streaming in through the window reminds me of a British bakery.
Even though brownies are my favorite, I enjoy all kinds of breads.
Sometimes I miss out if I go too late, but there was plenty today, so I hurriedly put the brownies on the plate.
Delicious-looking slices of orange vanilla cake, cream cheese brownies, butterscotch brookies, and raspberry tart can be seen off to the side. Because I am familiar with all of the tastes, I couldn't decide which one to get.
Cream cheese brownie 4,600
If you enjoy brownies, this is the one to get because it's sticky, soft, and not too sweet.
Crumble cake with apples and strawberries, flapjack with figs, and a cream cheese bun with oranges.
Big cookies are also available such as Pistachio butter shortbread and Macadamia white chocolate cookies. Because of the high butter content, it pairs wonderfully with an iced Americano.
A wide selection of baked goods, including banana cake, cheesecake, carrot cake, and more.
British-style scones, for which Scoff is also famous, were neatly arranged on one side.
Parmesan cheese scone 3,800
Earl Gray scones 3,600
Many customers came to take advantage of the buy 5 get 1 free offer on Scoff Scones.

You may also buy butter, cream, and jam just next to the cashier.
If you need a gift box, you can get one, too. Beautifully presented with anywhere from 6 to 12 items, I think it would make a great gift.
There is additional seating on the second floor where you can eat and drink.
If you like thick and chewy brownies like me, you must visit Scoff.
