Jayeondo Salt Bread (Seongsu store)
The Jayeondo Salt Bread, famous for its freshly baked salt bread. They also have a store in Ikseon-dong and have since expanded to Seongsu. A place to sit and eat is available at the Ikseon-dong, but not at the Seongsu location.
Ordering and pickup are done in a different place. Bread is available for exchange using the voucher given while placing an order at a kiosk.
There is only one option, a set of four salt breads, in the Seongsu location. Freshly made and offered six times a day, only 7,000 pieces are sold daily.

I was able to purchase the fresh bread baked at 9 a.m. when I stopped by on a weekend at 10:30 a.m.
Although it appears to be a plain salt bread, the flavor is superb. I could see why it's so well-known.
Every Jayeondo shop has a cauldron pot full of salt like the above picture. High-quality Canadian wheat, French butter, and French sea salt are used.

I was tempted to buy more packages, but they said that it taste best when eaten within a day, so I only bought one set.
If you buy it and store it in the freezer, it's better to consume it within three days. If you plan on using an air fryer, you should preheat it to 180 degrees for three minutes before cooking.
The lovely and vibrant package is an added bonus. As a present, I think that would be fantastic! Just looking at the picture makes my mouth water.
I haven't had much salt bread in my life, but this was the best I've ever tasted.

If you enjoy salt bread with a rich butter flavor, as I do, you will love this. The perfect amount of salt is used to bring out the flavor.
It is perfectly crispy if you eat it the same day, and it is chewy like white bread and excellent the day after.
Jayeondo, well-known for its Yeongjongdo salt bread, expanded to Seongsu-dong after Ikseon-dong. It was too far for me to travel to the other store just yet, but I heard that it opened a new store in Seongsu, so I stopped by and it was even tastier than I expected.
The abundance of buttery flavor makes it really tasty. While some establishments may offer "salt bread," it may merely be served with just a little bit of salt on top, but here, the bread itself has a nice salty flavor.
