London Bagel Museum (Anguk store)
London Bagel Museum (Samcheong, Seoul) is often ranked among the top 3 bagel spots in Seoul. It’s not only beloved by locals but also a go-to destination for tourists, so there’s always a long wait, weekday or weekend. I had only ever tasted their bagels through friends and family because the wait was always too much. But finally, I visited in person for the first time!
These days, they’ve opened several branches in places like Jamsil, Dosan, and Jeju, so you don’t need to wait five hours like before. But the Anguk location still draws a big crowd, especially with so many foreign visitors. I went on a weekday, and just look at all the people ahead of me!
I hadn’t originally planned to go, but around 10 a.m., I made a last-minute remote reservation through the Catch Table app.
Even from the outside, the place is bursting with that charming, foreign vibe. It really made me want to hop on a plane to London.
The store was packed, both dine-in and takeaway customers filled the space. The interior had a lovely vintage, European feel.
It honestly felt like I had stepped into a charming bagel bakery in London. But the reality? I was still right in the middle of Seoul, in a bakery serving up top-tier bagels.
They also sell cute stickers and postcards, which add to the charm.
There are plenty of tables, but it’s so popular that finding a seat can be tricky. I’d actually recommend getting takeout instead if you’re in a rush.
Once we secured a table, we headed over to place our order for bagels and drinks.
There was such a wide variety of bagels! At the Anguk branch of London Bagel Museum, they offer not only classic options like plain, cheese, and garlic bagels, but also hearty bagel sandwiches, perfect for a satisfying meal.
You can also choose from a selection of cream cheeses to go with your bagel, but I skipped it this time.
Since we had already eaten, we kept it light and ordered just a garlic bagel, an iced Americano, and an iced latte.
When you place your order, they hand you an adorable buzzer. Because of the crowd, you can’t choose your seat, the staff will assign it to you, and changing seats isn’t allowed. It’s a bit of a downside, but understandable for such a popular spot in Seoul.

The iced Americano had a noticeable acidity to it, bright and refreshing. The iced latte was creamy and nutty, such a perfect match with the bagel.
The garlic bagel isn’t cheap, but the texture made up for it. It had a subtle sweetness, was soft on the inside, and pleasantly chewy without being dry.
I also placed a takeout order. If you plan to eat in and take some home, I recommend choosing your takeout bagels at the same time, as popular ones sell out in minutes. One of my friends missed out on the olive bagel she really wanted because it sold out so fast.
I picked up a few bagels to bring home for my family as well.
London Bagel Museum remains one of Seoul’s most beloved bagel spots, and it’s no surprise the place is always bustling. With new branches across the country, the wait isn’t as extreme as before, but it’s still just as popular.
You can register for the waitlist starting from 7:30 a.m. through the Catch Table app. I recommend signing up early and spending some time exploring the neighborhood while you wait. If you’re a bagel lover, London Bagel Museum in Anguk-dong, Seoul is an absolute must-visit.
