One of my favorite cafés, Yeonhui Espresso Bar (Yeonhui-dong, Seoul) has relocated to a beautiful new building, just across from its previous location. The new space is more spacious, stylish, and comfortable than ever before.

Right at the entrance, a large showcase filled with a variety of fruit sandwiches immediately catches the eye. As a huge fan of these treats, I was thrilled to see such an amazing selection.

The new space features bar seating and plenty of tables, making it much easier to find a seat than before. I chose a cozy table towards the back, and I love that the café now offers even more seating options.

To place an order, you simply check off your choices using colored pencils, a small but charming touch that adds to the café’s personality.

 

Fruit Sandwich (Shine Muscat Grape + Peach)  8,000 won

Yeonhui Espresso Bar’s fruit sandwiches are always exceptional, and the grape and peach combination for the summer season was no exception. The light, perfectly balanced cream paired with sweet, juicy fruit made for an absolutely delightful treat.

 

Crunchy Jeje  4,300 won

Caffe Strapazzato (espresso + sugar + cocoa powder) + cream + handmade crunchy topping

This is my absolute favorite menu item. The crunchy topping adds the perfect texture, and the coffee flavor is incredible.

 

Peach Sorbet  5,000 won

A generous scoop of peach-flavored sorbet sits on top, with cream, espresso, and sweet jam layered underneath. Take a few spoonfuls of the sorbet first, then mix everything together for a perfectly balanced bite. 

When a popular café or restaurant expands, it often loses the original charm, or the taste isn’t quite the same. But Yeonhui Espresso Bar’s move was a brilliant decision.

The taste is just as amazing as ever, and the new space is even more inviting and beautiful.
