Angilsaga
An alley close to Anguk Station is where you'll find Angilsaga Guesthouse. We made extra effort to book this nice place because our friend was finally going to be in Seoul after a very long absence.
The day was beautiful, and I was blown away the moment I stepped in.
The roof tiles and the sky made a lovely pair.
Kitchen
Living room
The step-down living area looks beautiful.
Tea ceremony area
The creative approach of visually splitting the living area in two by lowering the floor was remarkable to me.
Bedroom
Outbuilding
There are two double beds, making it suitable for a party of four.
It was good that the outbuildings were fully equipped with everything from air conditioning to bug spray.
Bathroom
The sink was located outside the bathroom, and the shower and toilet were separated, making it ideal for shared usage.
The bathroom was spotless, and a bidet was included.
There was also body wash, conditioner, and shampoo available.
Maybe it's because it's so dark out, yet the abundance of lights is easily controlled and recognizable all at once.
A microwave and refrigerator, as well as plastic bags for disposal of leftovers.
The beam projector is great since it lets you watch content from various OTT services, like Netflix, while also allowing you to listen to music.
Open-air Bath
When I came back after dinner, the open-air bath was nearly full because I had turned on the water before leaving. It's best to turn on the hot water as soon as you check in because the higher the temperature, the more slowly it will flow.
It was getting dark in the open-air bath, so after snapping pictures and chattering for a while, we moved inside to get some late-night snacks.
They also have a Dyson dryer which was nice.
When you walk around this Bukchon neighborhood near Anguk Station, you'll find plenty of shops.
Food Delivery
We had chicken feet and tripe delivered because the dining location was pricey and the portions were small.
We also watched Netflix together.
Even at night, the lighting was perfect and the open-air bath looked beautiful. You really should spend at least two nights here.
I was able to have a nice sleep thanks to the soft mattress, and the view was lovely when I awoke. Excellent morning!
Additionally, despite it being Monday, we all had the day off, so we relaxed with a morning cup of tea. A friend of mine who always wears the ring we bought together.
Thanks to Angilsaga Guesthouse, our one-night stay was filled with wonderful photos and lasting memories.
