Conrad Seoul (Premium riverview, King bed)
It was a beautiful Friday in April, and Yeouido, Seoul, was painted in soft pink hues with cherry blossoms in full bloom. After a refreshing stroll through the Cherry Blossom Festival, I made my way to the luxurious Conrad Seoul, excited for a relaxing weekend stay.
Premium Riverview (King bed)
The Conrad Seoul has a slightly later check-in time compared to other hotels, but the anticipation made it all the more exciting. Our room was on the 33rd floor, and I was eager to soak in the breathtaking river view from such a high vantage point.
As I stepped into the room, the warm sunlight streaming through the large windows welcomed me.
I immediately walked over to take in the panoramic view, clear skies with no sign of haze or fine dust. I couldn’t help but feel grateful for such a perfect spring day.
The crisp, white linens on the bed were spotless and plush, making it tempting to crawl back under the covers.
One of my small joys was choosing from the variety of coffee capsules provided, a delightful way to kick off my morning.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find a Dyson hairdryer, the same model I use at home, which added a touch of familiarity to my stay.
The closet was well-stocked with essentials: two robes neatly hanging side by side, slippers, a safe, and an iron. Everything I needed for a comfortable and organized stay.
The bathroom was impressively spacious, featuring a bathtub with a built-in TV, although watching TV while soaking would have been a bit tricky.
Byredo (Bathroom amenities)
I was delighted to see Byredo bathroom amenities, a favorite brand of mine, alongside other essentials like razors, toothbrushes, and plenty of soft towels, all complimentary.
Knowing there would be a bathtub, I had stopped by LUSH at the IFC Mall to pick up a bath bomb and a bubble bar to make my bath time extra special.
For those who prefer simplicity, the Conrad also offers bath salts upon request.
Fitness Center
The 24-hour fitness center at the Conrad Hotel was another highlight of my stay. They even rent out workout clothes and socks for free, with sneakers available for just 5,000 won.
The gym is well-equipped with Technogym machines, and a fridge stocked with bottled water was conveniently available to stay hydrated throughout my workout.
Zest (Breakfast)
The next morning, I headed to Zest, the hotel’s second-floor restaurant, for breakfast. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 10:30 am, with the busiest time between 8:00 and 9:00 am, perfect for early risers and business travelers alike.
The buffet was impressive, offering a wide array of high-quality dishes in a well-organized setting, as expected from a five-star hotel.
Rice noodles
Salad
Korean Cuisine
One thing I love about hotel buffets in Korea is the selection of Korean cuisine. After several days of traveling, I often find myself craving the familiar flavors of home. As a proud foodie, Korean cuisine holds a special place in my heart, and the dishes at Zest did not disappoint.
Egg station
From the premium river-view room and luxurious amenities to the well-equipped gym and hearty breakfast, my stay at Conrad Seoul was a truly memorable spring getaway.
Though I didn’t capture every dish or corner of the hotel in photos, the memories of this delightful experience will linger with me. Whether for cherry blossom season or any other special occasion, I would gladly return to Conrad Seoul for another unforgettable stay.
