Last weekend, we enjoyed a wonderful stay at Courtyard by Marriott Seoul (Namdaemun), and I’m here to share all the details!

We booked a special package deal for around KRW 300,000, which included:
Happy Hour at the Executive Lounge
Breakfast at Momo Café
A Namsan View Room

The hotel is conveniently located near Sungnyemun (Namdaemun), with City Hall Station and Hoehyeon Station just a short walk away.

The hotel lobby is located on the 2nd floor. Since we checked in later than 3 pm, we were assigned a 15th-floor room instead of a higher one.

Towels, toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner), toothbrush, and toothpaste were all provided.

 

Executive Lounge

By the time we settled in, Happy Hour at the Executive Lounge (22nd floor) had already started, so I headed straight there.

Complimentary buffet & drinks, Wine & beer available

From the lounge, we had a clear view of Sungnyemun (Namdaemun).

After dinner, we took a short stroll to Sungnyemun, the area just across the street. Though I’ve seen Sungnyemun Gate many times before, this was my first time exploring the surrounding area.

The next morning, I woke up at 7:30 AM and headed straight to Momo Café for breakfast. The buffet was small but had a mix of Korean & Western dishes.

We had an overall pleasant stay at Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun. Next time, I hope to book a room with a Sungnyemun Gate view for a new experience.
