Andok (seochon)
I went to Andok, a well-known restaurant in Seochon serving tasty dumpling soup. We arrived around noon on a weekday, and although there was no line outside, the restaurant was packed with diners.
Kim Na-Young's YouTube channel also featured this restaurant. I was particularly anticipating the meal because dumpling soup is usually one of my favorite types of soup.
Side dish
Radish salad and macaroni salad with mayonnaise.
Gochu Twigim (Korean stuffed pepper) 19,000 won
The chili fries were incredibly juicy because they were packed with meat inside. Thanks to the thin and lovely batter, the finest chili fries I've ever tasted.
Mandu-guk (dumpling soup) 15,000 won
On a windy day like today, I really want a bowl of hot soup. A little saltiness, not blandness, and a very clean flavor defined the soup with kimchi dumplings inside.
Dumplings with soup make the perfect flavor combination. The serving appeared to be on the little side, but the dumplings were enormous, so I was quite full.
Whenever I return to Seochon, I believe Andeok will be at the top of my mind!
My parents would probably enjoy it as much as I do, so I plan to take them there the next time. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone who is in the mood for some authentic Korean cuisine.
