Mils
Opening in December 2023, Mills in Seongsu-dong is known for its delicious sausage buns. Although it's in Seongsu-dong, it's near Ttukseom Hangang Park, so it is not a particularly crowded location.
When you walk into the store, you’ll notice a fire burning nearby, and there are some firewood trees around, giving off a vibe like something delicious is being cooked up.
Beverage Menu
You may find a variety of drinks on the menu, including espresso, milk tea, ade, tea, and drip coffee. While waiting for my friend, I placed an order for a Bratwurst sausage bun and an iced Americano.
Bratwurst Sausage Bun 5,500 won
Bratwurst sausage buns are filled with cabbage and topped with lightly grilled, homemade bratwurst sausages on some delicious sourdough bread. And thankfully, it didn’t have that overpowering herb or spice flavor I was worried about.
You can also buy this tasty sourdough bread online; it's a nutritious bread with a rich taste and a touch of acidity. According to them, no commercial yeast or chemical additions are used in its production; the only ingredients are organic wheat flour, water, salt, and levain.
Mint Mojito Coffee (iced only) 6,500 won
Beverage that mixes cold mint, a sweet milk base, espresso, and milk foam, topped off with some apple mint.
Leak Soup & Sourdough Bread 9,000 won
The focaccia that goes with the stew was all gone, so I went with the leak soup (made by boiling leak and potatoes in a thick broth) and some sourdough instead.
We also ordered two more sausages. This sausage platter came with two varieties of mustard sauce and was shaped like a smiley face.
I felt like I had eaten enough that day, but I guess I'll need to return a couple more times because there are so many mouthwatering menus to check out.
