Seorin Nakji
I frequently watch Sung Si-kyung's YouTube channel and all the eateries he visits appear to be delicious. Seong Si-kyung ate it so deliciously that I was curious about its flavor.
By chance, Seorin Nakji, the eatery where Seong Si-kyung had octopus, was close by, so I went there to eat it.
Thankfully, there was no line, but the table was almost full.
Menu
Seorin Nakji can be seen if you walk from Gwanghwamun D Tower toward Jonggak Station.
The building's second floor is where Seorin Nakji is located. It is simple to see because the signboard has blue and red letters on a yellow background.
3 blue ribbons were awarded.
There are several tables, but when I visited, around two-thirds of them were occupied.
Nakji-bokkeum(stir-fried octopus) 23,000 won
Customers appear to be placing their orders in the same way after Seong Si-kyung had Nakji-bokkeum (stir-fried octopus) and Bacon-sausage. The staff asked whether we wanted to order Bacon-sausage with Nakji-bokkeum as soon as we sat down. But, we only ordered Nakji-bokkeum, since I believed I would be full if I ordered two.
It would be ideal if you order the Nakji-bokkeum with bacon sausage if you are dining with three or more people.
Nakji-bokkeum is enough for two people
I took a bowl from the entrance's self-service area, poured a small amount of sesame oil into a bowl, and mixed it with rice.
Other restaurants that serve Nakji-bokkeum mix it with a lot of veggies, so there isn't a lot of octopus, while Seorin Nakji has 95% octopus and only 5% vegetables. Very nice...
The octopus appears to be really tasty. It was incredibly good, with a chewy texture and a deliciously spicy taste. I've never had better Nakji-bokkeum than this.
Mixed bean sprouts and Nakji-bokkeum with rice. I appreciate how large the octopus is. Seorin Nakji's Nakji-bokkeum was outstanding.
I almost got another bowl of rice to add to the remaining seasoning, but I stopped myself.
Seorin Nakji is an absolute must-try. Easting delicious and spicy Nakji-bokkeum always put a smile on my face.
