Tteurak (Cheongdam, Seoul) is a high-end Korean barbecue restaurant renowned for serving top-quality beef. It’s even been praised by celebrities on TV as having the best tenderloin in town.

The restaurant offers private dining rooms on the second and third floors, providing a sophisticated and private ambiance. We were seated on the second floor, where the setting felt both elegant and intimate.

Menu

The menu boasts a wide variety of premium Korean beef cuts, complemented by a range of sides and an impressive wine selection.

Side Dish

The sides, especially the soy sauce-marinated shrimp, were a standout. Another highlight was the green onion salad, which was so delicious that we found ourselves repeatedly asking for more.

The tenderloin, with its beautiful pink hue, was grilled to perfection by the attentive staff. I chose to enjoy the beef with just a touch of salt, which brought out its natural flavor, and the meat quite literally melted in my mouth.

The grilled vegetables were equally delightful, with the yam offering a unique and irresistible flavor.

While the Mul Naengmyeon had a traditional blandness typical of Pyeongyang-style noodles, the Bibim Naengmyeon offered a perfect balance of sweetness and sourness, making it a refreshing and flavorful choice.

Due to its high prices, Tteurak is the kind of restaurant where people bring important guests for an exceptional dining experience. On the Saturday night we visited, most of the other diners seemed to be attending business dinners.

With private rooms available and impeccable service, Tteurak offers a serene and upscale atmosphere where you can savor some of the best Korean barbecue in Seoul.
