Ader Error (Seongsu, Seoul) has become a staple of Seongsu, and is often referred to as the next “Gentle Monster” for its unique and immersive brand experience. I finally visited the Ader Seongsu Space, which is not just a store but a visual and sensory adventure.

From Seongsu Station Exit 3, walk straight until you reach the crosswalk, where you'll spot Ader Error's striking building on the corner.

I visited on a weekday (Wednesday), which was much quieter compared to the usual weekend crowds. There were only two teams ahead of me in the waiting queue, making it a relatively quick entry.

Walking into Ader Seongsu Space felt like stepping onto a spaceship. While I’ve never been on one (obviously), the design reminded me of Interstellar a movie I’ve watched five times! The futuristic interiors were awe-inspiring, with each detail meticulously crafted to create an otherworldly atmosphere.

The showroom is divided into multiple rooms, each with its own theme.

The first room was chaotic, filled with storm-like sounds, flashing lights, and a sense of controlled chaos.

Another room resembled an astronaut’s quarters, complete with details that made it feel like part of an actual universe.

One of the reasons for the long lines is the abundance of Instagram-worthy spots. Every corner is a perfect photo opportunity, from cosmic-themed walls to creative displays.

The ground floor featured a wide array of accessories, including hats, bags, and popsockets.

The second floor had a cozy feel, thanks to the plush carpet that felt like walking on sand.

I especially admired the washed jeans worn by the staff, but unfortunately, they were sold out. Despite not planning to buy them, it still stung a little!

 

Whether or not you're a fan of Ader Error, the Ader Seongsu Space is worth a visit. It's not just a store, it’s an artistic and immersive experience. Even if you don’t plan to shop, wandering through the futuristic rooms and admiring the creative displays is a treat in itself.
