BoMarket (seoul forest)

BoMarket (seoul forest)

BoMarket (Seoul Forest, Seoul) is a well-loved brunch café and lifestyle shop with a unique, curated aesthetic. I had no idea there was a location in Seongsu, but I discovered it while searching for a brunch spot nearby. With the sun shining brightly that day, the exterior looked especially beautiful, like something straight out of a postcard.

Step inside through the BOMARKET entrance, and you’re greeted by a giant, adorable figure.

The interior is vibrant and colorful, almost like a mini picnic spot indoors.

The seating, reminiscent of quaint European park benches, pairs beautifully with the pops of color from the carefully placed décor. The space manages to be both cozy and effortlessly stylish at the same time.

Like any trustworthy café, BOMARKET operates with an open kitchen, offering a glimpse into the cooking process. Orders are placed via a self-service kiosk, and once your food is ready, you can pick it up at the designated PICK-UP counter. Cutlery and plates are available for self-service as well.

Considering today’s food prices, the meals felt reasonably priced, though the drinks were slightly on the expensive side. One delightful detail was the variety of colorful trays, just another little aesthetic element that makes BOMARKET special.

Spam Kimchi Fried Rice (9,500 won) with an extra topping of bacon (1,500 won)

Adding bacon was a great decision! The thick, crispy slices added the perfect texture, and the kimchi fried rice itself was incredibly flavorful.

Gambas Pasta 15,800 won

BOMARKET is famous for both its Kimchi Fried Rice and Rosé Tteokbokki, and I debated between the two. But since both are spicy red dishes, I decided to go for the Gambas Pasta instead for some variety.

At first, the flavors felt mild, and the thinner noodles gave it a light, almost healthy feel. But once I combined the shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and arugula in a single bite, the dish became unexpectedly delicious, I ended up finishing every last bit!

Grape Lemonade 7,200 won

After brunch, it was time to explore the shop.

The art prints and postcards were absolutely stunning. I found myself daydreaming about painting my walls a soft green and decorating them with these charming pieces.

BOMARKET carries an extensive range of tableware and home accessories, making it a haven for anyone who loves unique interior styling. The sheer variety of colors had me tempted to buy everything in multiple shades.

Every item has been carefully curated, making browsing an experience in itself.

They also have an impressive wine selection and beautifully packaged gift sets, making it a great place to pick up thoughtful presents.

Surprisingly, they even sell a range of pet accessories, perfect for spoiling furry companions.

One of the things I love about BOMARKET is that their products aren’t just cute, they’re also incredibly practical. From quirky potato tongs to knit cap-shaped wine stoppers, their collection blends whimsy with everyday functionality, making shopping here genuinely fun.

They also stock a range of imported gourmet foods, adding to the unique selection.

BOMARKET (Seoul Forest) feels like the perfect mix of brunch café and boutique shopping experience. Whether you’re here for the food, the décor, or just to browse, there’s plenty to love. With its inviting atmosphere, delicious menu, and thoughtfully curated selection of products, it’s definitely a spot worth visiting.
