Shopping in Hannam-dong is always a delightful experience, with its many flagship stores, galleries, and boutiques.

Over the weekend, I stopped by one of the trendiest locations in the area, the Tamburins Flagship Store (Hannam, Seoul) which opened at the end of March. I had heard they recently launched new products and couldn’t resist dropping by to check it out.

TAMBURINS HANNAM

Nestled between Itaewon and Hangangjin stations, the Tamburins Hannam Flagship Store is conveniently located on the main street. It’s a great spot for window shopping, surrounded by neighboring flagship stores and galleries. Many visitors come to Hannam-dong specifically to explore the unique showrooms in the area, and Tamburins is certainly one of the must-see destinations.

As soon as I entered the store, I was captivated by the pumpkin-themed décor, which perfectly complemented the dominant green tones of the first floor. The creative use of fabrics throughout the space, rather than traditional paint or wallpaper, added a luxurious and cozy touch to the interior.

Room Fragrance  53,500 won

Tamburins recently introduced a new line of home fragrances, including room sprays and diffusers. Available in four distinct scents MEOK, PINE NEST, PAPYRUS, and MUM BUD.

Perfume Candle 83,000 won / Perfume Candle Mini Set 148,000 won

Another highlight was the range of perfume candles, priced at 83,000 won. For those who can’t decide on just one scent, a miniature set featuring all four fragrances is available for 148,000 won.

Further inside, there’s a section dedicated to hand creams, body wash, and hand wash. One of my favorite parts of the visit was testing the hand soaps and body washes at the sink, allowing me to fully experience their long-lasting, pleasant aromas.

For those looking for a thoughtful gift, Tamburins also offers luxurious gift packages. These beautifully packaged sets are ideal for housewarmings or special celebrations, combining elegance with functionality.

It's impossible to mention Tamburins without thinking of Jenny (Blackpink). She always looks amazing, but there's something particularly captivating about her when she's associated with Tamburins. Her elegance and charm perfectly align with the brand’s aesthetic, making her an ideal ambassador.

The second floor took the experience to another level. As I walked up, I noticed the showroom's design shifted into something that felt more like an exhibition space rather than a retail store.

I was immediately drawn to the adorable paper dogs, resembling sapsali dogs. The fan positioned near the sculptures made the paper fur move, giving them an almost lifelike quality.

The second floor is thoughtfully arranged for showcasing Tamburins' home fragrances and candles. While these products are also available on the first floor, the upper level provides a more immersive and comfortable space for customers to try them out.

Of the four new fragrances I tried, PINE NEST was my favorite. It’s inspired by the serene image of a Hanok (traditional Korean house) after a rainstorm, complete with water droplets on the eaves. The scent features notes of pine needles, hinoki trees, and eucalyptus, creating a refreshing and calming aroma.

Tamburins Hannam Flagship Store feels like more than just a brand space. From the creative use of textures and décor to the thoughtful layout, it’s clear that branding and marketing play a key role here. They’ve mastered the art of captivating potential customers through a mix of high-quality products and a memorable atmosphere.
