Tamburins (hannam store)
Shopping at Hannam-dong is always a lot of fun because there are so many great places. Over the weekend, I stopped by one of the trendiest Hannam-dong showrooms, Tamburins Hannam Flagship Store. I heard they had new things, so I stopped by for a quick look at their latest store which opened at the end of March.
TAMBURINS HANNAM
Between Itaewon and Hangangjin stations, on the main street, you can find the Tamburins Hannam Flagship Store. It was enjoyable to window shop the many neighboring brand flagship stores, galleries, and boutiques. Many people visit the Hannam-dong area specifically just to visit the many showrooms that are located here.
Upon entering the store, the pumpkin décor was the first thing that drew me in. All of these fabric accents worked beautifully with the first floor's dominant green color.
Room Fragrance 53,500 won
These items are part of the brand-new line of home fragrances that were just introduced. A room spray and a diffuser version were both introduced, and there are four scents—MEOK, PINE NEST, PAPYRUS, and MUM BUD.
Perfume Candle 83,000 won / Perfume Candle Mini Set 148,000 won
There were also four unique scents of fragrance candles available. Additionally, you can get a miniature set of all the scents in a scented candle.
A little further inside, you'll find a section that showcases hand cream, body wash, and hand wash. You can test out the hand soap and body wash at the sink. I loved being able to sniff all the many aromas of Tamburins hand wash, which is noted for leaving a long-lasting pleasant aroma on the skin even after washing.
Gift packages are also available, making them perfect for occasions like housewarmings and other celebrations. The luxurious appearance and packaging make this product a wonderful gift.
The interior is adorned with a variety of fabrics rather than paint or wallpaper. I went up to the second floor to see the room fragrance goods and the unique photo spots.
Jenny (Blackpink) looks amazing all the time. She's always lovely, but I think she's even nicer when she's with the Tamburins.
I was astonished at the moment I reached the second floor. Puppies that looked like sapsali dogs were created from paper. Rather than being a brand store, it had the air of an exhibition space.
The paper dogs were really cute. The fan made the paper fur move, making it look like a real dog.
The second floor is where you can find the recently launched line of home fragrances and fragrant candles. You can still see them on the first floor, but the second floor appears to have been more thoughtfully arranged for your comfort in trying out these new things.
All four of the new fragrances I tested were nice, but the PINE NEST was my favorite one. They say the aroma recalls the look of a Hanok (Korean traditional house) after a rainstorm, complete with water droplets on the eaves. It has notes of pine needles, hinoki trees, and eucalyptus. I suggest giving it a try in the store if you're thinking about buying it.
It had the atmosphere of an exhibition rather than a brand store. Developing high-quality products is essential, but I place a higher value on branding and marketing. It was a brilliant approach to use sensory experiences to captivate potential customers and change their perception of the brand.
If you're looking for a place to take some stunning photos or look for some captivating scented things, I think you'll love Tamburins Hannam's flagship.
