​Today, I will write about my time spent in Tamburins. They recently opened a new flagship store in Samcheong-dong, my favorite area, across from the Jeongdok Library.

There are a total of four floors.

On a weekday afternoon, I went there. There is typically a long line on the weekends, so keep that in mind if you're planning a trip.

Since it is so popular, it is bustling with visitors.

The major seasonal item, candle objets, is showcased along one wall on the ground floor.

I was tempted to buy everything on this shelf.​

Test areas for various Tamburins items and checkout counters can be found on the ground floor. There is also an area for trying out various Tamburins wash products.

Cashier

I took the elevator behind the cashier and went up to the 4th floor.

 

4th Floor

​Objet made of Candles, the theme for this season, was on display on the fourth level.

This big cat-shaped objet is a candle.

​Take a look at this. Even the beard was crafted using candle wax.

The view from the fourth level of Tamburins was magnificent because the space itself is wonderful and there are no tall buildings in the area around it.

Down to the 3rd floor

 

3rd Floor

The structure itself appeared to have received a lot of care. It's a lovely and modern building that lets in plenty of natural light.

Scented Meok (inkstick) candles and decorative objects can be found on the third floor.

I have a degree in fine arts and know the authentic aroma of 'Meok'. I was curious as to the process because it smelled so much of the Meok.

The artwork and candle went so well together that it seemed to take over the whole room.

Even the handle has a traditional knot design.

 

2nd Floor

A balcony overlooks the city from the second floor.

It was a wonderful space to spend time in. Since it was such a pleasant day outside, I felt really good for the first time in a while.

Products can be tested on the second floor as well. Each item looks and fits perfectly in its display case, which has a traditional look and feel.

The fact that they launched a store in Samcheong-dong and focused on Korean-themed objects were two of my favorite features of this visit.

In particular, the 'Meok' fragrance was strongly oriental, and the harmonious arrangement of the objects on show enhanced the aesthetic value of the space.

I am really expecting great things from the Tamburins bright future.​
